A lovely pet friendly Lodge with a hot tub. Very clean and quiet site with two beautiful lakes. Everything you need for an adult family get away , and a couple of pubs and a cafe close by. The kitchen was great with a washing machine and dishwasher ,clean cooker and microwave and toaster.
A big mention for Bob the site warden. Lovely chap.

Overall very good.

Wonderful peaceful setting with Lake views. Lodge very clean and tidy with everything you need for home from home comforts. Christmas decorations made our stay very festive. Will not hesitate to return again soon.

Wonderful festive break

Camper van right by facilities very clean and hygienic fishing lakes well maintained and fishing was excellent  caretaker couldn't do enough ti help take away right by entrance to the site also local tale awys deliver 

Disabled friendly 

Fantastic lodges too posh for us 😀  loved the hot tub well decorated very clean and tidy the washer dryer and dish washer was a god send. The whole site was so quiet and peaceful was needed to have a break from everyday life. Bob was brilliant and so helpful.

Slice of heaven at Wigmore Lakes.

What an amazing place.. visited for a weekend away and it was amazing , beautiful scenery, the whole site is very clean. The lodge we stayed in was modern and very clean. Every detail was very well thought of. Very beautiful place. Bob ( the manager ) he was fantastic, friendly and very welcoming. Definitely would recommend this place to anybody who was looking to get away. Fantastic park and fantastic staff … thank you so much 😊 will definitely be returning

Super place . Highly recommend

We stayed here for the half term week of October in a hot tub lodge with our 2 boys aged 12 and 9. The hot tub was a big hit for us all, saw some shooting stars and some amazing sunsets from sitting in it. The lodge was really big and clean, with lots of room, and a few small touches like dish washer tablets, shampoo and shower gel, an ensuite to main room was handy too, comfy beds, cosy sofas, lovely and warm, the central heating was super effective. The balcony area was secure so younger children would be safe. Such a quiet and pretty spot, no traffic noise, occasionally heard a distant train when sat outside but nothing else, total black spot which was great for star gazing. The lodge is a short 20min drive to Welshpool which a is a cute little town made up of some shops, and restaurants/pubs. Definetly recommend the food and drinks at the Raven inn, we ate lunch there during our stay, the food was really good, atmosphere was lovely, staff really friendly (it was dog friendly too if you visit with a pooch). 20minute drive in the opposite direction takes you into central Shrewsbury, had a walk through the park which was really lovely and very clean. Shrewsbury Town is a lovely little town aswell with lots of unique one off boutique stores and then more well known branded stores (barbour, joules, River island, hobbs, accessorize etc) we had a lovely day pottering around the park and the town and ate lunch at Ask Italian which was also very nice, good food, happy friendly staff and good atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting here again.

Mini break

Enjoyed a lovely week here with family, very relaxing, well equipped, fabulous hot tub, we will be back, comfy beds, all towels supplied even for the hot tub. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk in fridge for our arrival. Plenty of dishwasher tablets

Very relaxing, beautiful lakeside view

We booked a lodge at Wigmore for a weekend of fishing and relaxing to celebrate my mother’s 60th Birthday, this place is beautiful and very tranquil. Fishing is very good and plenty of pegs to choose from.

Bob the bailiff was especially friendly and helpful and the lodge itself was home from home, it had all of the amenities we could wish for and very clean and Modern.

All in all a great weekend and can’t wait to visit Wigmore Lakes again in the future.



60th Birthday well spent

We had a lovely time at wigmore lakes .. great location, quiet, peaceful, relaxing, lovely lodges with fab views over the lakes...  much so, we looking forward to returning for another stay. Thank you Katie and Bob for your warm welcome.

A wonderful break

We have just got back from a few days here in one of their beautiful lodges, awesome views to the lake, 
The lodge was very clean and modern and had a lovely warm hot tub on the veranda, 
Bedding and towels provided and everything you would need in the kitchen, 
The lake is ideal for fishing (not for me😊) but my fella loved it! 
I would highly recommend Wigmore Lakes , it’s a very tidy site and great for couples or families . 
Bob the on-site warden is very helpful and is there if you need him. 
We will definitely return, only downside is the great British weather and the rain but that didn’t stop us having a dip in the hot tub in the rain !
