Was greeted by the lovely Annie & Alex and was given a coffee & mince pie.  Immediately felt ‘at home’. 

Our room was clean & bright with everything we needed.  Even had a chocolate on the pillow.  Toiletries in the bathroom were provided.  

Annie had taken our order for breakfast on arrival and this was done to perfection by Alix.

The B & B only has 6 rooms so we met all the quests at some point during breakfast & we’re all able to chat and have a laugh 

Nothing was too much trouble & Annie was constantly checking if we needed anything.  

They had a few friends round on New Years Eve & even invited us to go.  We had alternate arrangements but did call in to have a drink with them upon our return just after midnight. 

Fab location too.   Would definitely recommend

Second year, second visit. Absolutely amazing hosts, they really can't do enough for u.
We actually had the same rooms as the previous year. The beds are so comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious...

Week end away. Scarborough Sparkle

When I saw the reviews of this I could not get over how positive and glowing they were.

Having just stayed their for a couple of nights I can entirely concur with the reviews I have read. 

I arrived early and even though they were out to Lunch, Alex returned early within 5 minutes to check me in. Excellent service.

The room had my preferred Double Bed and a large en-suite shower room. Breakfast was one of the best I have come across and sets you well up for the day.

What makes the place is the shear dedication to the customer that Annie and Alex display. Within a short time you are made to feel at home and amongst friends.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending and will certainly be returning.

Fabulous with very friendly hosts

We enjoyed a perfect long weekend St Micheals is very clean and a excellent location for our walks bath beach and town parking no problem nothing is too much for the staff very friendly and would recommend anytime thanks for a lovely weekend.

Perfect

Annie and Alex are the loveliest hosts and as a solo traveller make you feel safe and at home.  They take time to get to know you and make you very comfortable. 
There is everything you need and more. It’s very close to the town and Peasholme Park.  Looking forward to returning next month.

A fantastic guest house

Such a warm and friendly welcome from Annie and Alex. Nothing was too much trouble and our room was clean , warm and very comfortable. We would recommend  having the optional breakfast as it was delicious and good value . We will definitely stay again .

Friendly warm experience .

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at St Michael's into the new year. We received a nice warm welcome from Annie & Alex on arrival. The check-in was straight forward & informative with the option to have or decline morning breakfast. The room we was allocated (6) was on the top floor & nicely decorated. We had a nice sleep in our double bed with warm bedding. The bathroom is nice & clean with a hot refreshing shower. Kettle with tea & coffee condiments are available in your room. The breakfast is delicious & cooked to your preference. St Michaels offers that home to home feel as soon as you cross the threshold. Annie & Alex made our stay a memorable one & we felt like old friends. We can highly recommend St Michael's without any doubt & hope to return in the near future

A fabulous B&B in an ideal location

We stayed two nights at St Michael guest house. It was amazing from the moment we arrived to when we left. We were greeted by Annie who made us a coffee and a delicious slice of Christmas cake. The bedroom was lovely, coffee and tea making facilities were available, with chocolate biscuits and not forgetting the mints. The breakfast was very tasty, lovely sausages and bacon. The hosts could not do enough for you.I would highly recommend this guest house. Jacci and David 

Excellent 

The hosts are amazingly warm and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Our rooms were spotless and the beds were very comfy..toiletries in the ensuite were a bonus.
Cooked breakfasts were delicious and filled us up.
Will definitely be back.
Cannot praise the hosts and their home high enough ❤️❤️

Hidden Gem this lovely Guest House.Very, very Friendly and great Hosts Annie and Alex,nothing to much trouble.Fabulous Yorkshire Breakfast.Extremely neat clean and tidy throughout.This is the first time We have ever posted a review,so very well deserved indeed.Parking no Problem, and great location,which is a definate plus in Scarborough!!!!!!!Lovely ,Lovely stay indeed.All the best for the Future.,we will return for sure. xxx.
