Sara and Kevin are fantastic hosts and fantastic people, very friendly, helpful and offering the great service. During our 3 days's stay they exceeded all our expectations. The Breakfast is absolutely amazing, great quality and portions.

Fantastic stay

I had the loveliest stay with the wonderful and friendly Sara and Kevin at the Denewood Hotel over the Easter break! They were the kindest couple, and the whole B&B has a lovely feel to it from being family-run. It also was in a fantastic location, only a five-minute walk from the beach, a 2-minute walk from the bus to Ventnor, Ryde, and Newport, a 12-minute walk from the Island Line train station and the Red Squirrel Trail, and close to lots of restaurants and bars. 

The place itself is very well done up, and all the communal spaces (living room, bar, and breakfast room) are very neat, clean, and comfortable. The bedroom and ensuite were very pretty, with an EXTREMELY comfy bed and pillows. I got fresh chocolate and towels every single morning, which was wonderful. The shower also had excellent water pressure, which can be hard to find sometimes, but not here!

The breakfast choices were brilliant, and it was so lovely to have a freshly cooked breakfast first thing in the morning. The bed and breakfast is very worth the money, which is a super reasonable price anyway. 

You can tell that Sara and Kevin have poured a lot of love into this place, which also comes through in their treatment of guests - they went the extra mile to accommodate me having a delayed arrival due to horrendous weather, helped me find some walking trails for my walking holiday there, and messaged me when they found a necklace that they thought was mine and offered to post it to me. 

I have already been recommending this place to my family and friends since returning home, and most definitely will be booking again soon - thank you so much, Sara and Kevin!

A home away from home

Sarah and Kevin are amazing from before we arrived answering questions to be greeted on arrival, very professional hosts on hospitality. Great room,  fantastic breakfast, hubby loved the scrambled eggs and Salmon. To round the day off, it was lovely sitting in their little bar, drinking and chatting with them and other quests. Looking forward to returning next August.

The Fabulous Denewood

Enjoyed a lovely week at the Denewood.   Our hosts Kevin and Sara looked after us very well and nothing was too much trouble.  The room was very comfortable and included toiletries, tea and coffee facilities  and fresh water daily.   The breakfasts were great, thank you Sara, and there was plenty of choice.  Only a few minutes from sea front, shops and restaurants. We would definitely recommend. 

Great hotel

Right from booking our rooms over phone & helpful texts from Sara, I felt we already had good Customer Service. Great Welcome from her & Kevin.They kindly let us leave luggage with them as we arrived early & went back out on adventures.We loved meeting their 3 Dogs in the Garden.Nice touches like chocs on towels & info book were appreciated. The Rooms were lovely and clean & loved the decor.Only couple of things:Lacking plug socket easy access and being in residential street it wasn't always quiet to have our window open.Otherwise a wonderful stay with fab Brekky & location. Will go again & recommend Thanks!

Fab Family stay in clean Welcoming Hotel

We recently stayed at the Denewood Hotel. I have to say that Sara and Kevin were the most welcoming and friendly host.  Overall the place was tidy and clean. Our rooms were very good. Breakfast was the highlight, we were pampered by Kevin. I felt very homely and got a very warm send off. We will revisit in out next trip to Isle of Wight.

Excellent Stay

Cliff B. I recently stayed at the denewood Hotel. And the host sara and kevin were most welcoming and friendly. I was shown to my room by Kevin. The Bedroom are clean and tidy and serviced everyday. The breakfast was plentiful and cooked to perfection. There is a comfortable lounge and bar with a wide selection of beers etc.  And the Young lady ( leah ) is also friendly and confident. I will most certainly be going back in the not to distant future.   Date of stay 15th July to 25th July. 

Excellent hotel.

Kevin is a natural host, Sara a brilliant breakfast chef, roons are comfortable and clean, excellent information folder and facilities. A lovely area for guests to sit in the evening, socialising with a drink from the bar. A pre order system for breakfast, but the breakfast was superb. 

We felt very welcome

this is the best bnb on the island without a doubt. the owners sara and kevin (and paul!!) are the loveliest and most thoughtful people we have ever met. they were super kind and made the stay so amazing we didnt want to leave. breakfast was the best breakfast we have ever had and filled us up all day, there is something for everyone and the catering for it is amazing too. the room was well equipped and spotless- we even got a chocolate each afternoon :)) stayed in room 5 for 5 days and the bed was really comfy too. the denewood is also in a good location, nearby to shops, beach and an arcade so is perfect for all ages and families. booking again right now, would live there if we could ;) 

best hotel in the uk. stay here. dont have second thoughts. you know you want to.

We stayed for 3 nights and could not fault anything. Kevin, Sara and Paul were perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome.Our room was spotlessly clean with extremely thoughtful touches, everything you needed was provided, tea , coffee, biscuits, water, chocolates, toiletries, plenty of towels , hairdryer etc and also a much appreciated fan. Breakfast was delicious with a wide choice all cooked to order and exactly as requested, it kept us full all day. We would highly recommend The Denewood and would definitely stay again. Thank you Kevin and Sara .
