Sally voted this the best sleep ever, which is praise indeed. Small room, but really well looked after. Attentive hosts with lots of local recommendations, breakfast specials and a great, friendly location.

Perfectly formed

Lovely place, excellent breakfast, very comfortable bed and the hosts were very friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. Lots of recommendations for places to visit. Two breweries were well worth a visit.

Peaceful location

Booked the Millgate as I hadnt stayed in masham before and it's in a really good spot for walking up to the town to sample some of the locals.The house is very quirky which is what you would expect of a building this old.We arrived and ate the delightful scones that were left in the room by Sue.The room had everything you could want with an ensuite.The ensuite was a little tight as there is a full shower and bath available so will take up some space and is to be expected.The furniture is all very fitting for the room and all the design touches match beautifully.The rooms are serviced daily and the tea and coffee facilities replenished.Would enhance what is already a good quality selection by having some herbal tea bags available.The breakfast was all freshly cooked with very good quality ingredients and home made bread really with daily specials added to the overall service.
All in all a lovely stay.I suppose the only small niggle is that conversation can be heard clearly through the walls between the upper floor bedrooms,but this wasnt too much of an issue.Really enjoyed Sue and Andrees hospitality and they get the balance just right.

Few days away

This is one of the best B & Bs we have stayed in.  Welcome with hot, home made scones and a great home-cooked breakfast.  The bed was comfortable and the room clean.  Every attention had been paid to detail and beautiful decorated throughout

Wonderful welcome and great breakfast

An absolutely lovely welcome, even though we arrived much later than planned. Sue and Andrew were such kind hosts and looked after us all so well and with such thoughtfulness.  A very special B&B. thank you.

short break

Very friendly attentive hosts, nothing was too much bother.  Room was very clean and warm.  Breakfast was wonderful, freshly baked rolls and what can you say about freshly made scones, absolutely delicious. Right in the centre of the town, walking distance to all amenities.  All you could ask for and more.
