The receptionist, Mabel was so lovely! She was very helpful for a last minute booking and ensures we had everything we needed. Made the experience very easy after a stressful night trying to find a hotel. Room was clean and the pub next door is fab

Friendly and helpful staff

Had a lovely stay here. The staff were brilliant and friendly. The check in was quick and simple. The room was very clean and made up ready for the kids. I would definitely stay here again I had a very good experience here and am pleasantly surprised. It’s out of the way so no traffic or loud noises which was great for the kids sleep and have nothing to fault them on.

Amazing!

Arrived around 9pm to find no member of staff at reception, had to wait over 15 mins for the staff member arrive to check us in. Went to the room to find a bed hadn’t been made for our child, the staff member came and make the bed. Then noticed we’d only been given the 1 towel, back to reception and got 2 more towels. Went for breakfast the next morning to find our booking wasn’t there had to go back to reception to get a copy of the receipt. Overall a poor experience

Room wasn’t ready for our arrival at 9pm

Standard Premier, rooms fine, although not the best I have been in.  What put us off though was the guy on the reception.  So my son had prebooked two rooms for the night and check in is usually simple....however the guy took ages and then told us we owed £6.... what for we asked as it was all prebooked... because it says so on the computer he said!  After much asking he could not say why there was a £6 surcharge on a prepaid booking so we had to pay otherwise he would not give us our cards.  When I went to the room mine smelt of sewerage... I had to go back and I was obviously not welcome... I told him that the room smelt and needed to change, but he told me they were fully booked and everyone there.. this was 4pm!  I said surely not everyone has booked in yet and I could not stay in that room - he obviously thought I was just being difficult because of the surcharge.... he then took my key and went up to the room himself as obviously did not believe me... however when he returned  he was very different and agreed there was a problem with sewerage and miraculously found me another room...
Problems occur but it is the way you deal with them.

STANDARD PREMIER, BUT NOT THE BEST WELCOME

Hotel was tired and not very clean. Reception ignored our request to service the room for our second day necessitating a trip to ask for fresh towels, etc. Restaurant evening meal was poor quality and over priced, breakfast (continental) consisted of stale pastries and none of the fresh fruit advertised (although a girl in the bar did offer to have a look in the kitchen to see if she could find something). This is a real shame as we almost exclusively use Premier Inn when we travel as they are usually excellent.

Bad hotel in an otherwise good chain

Easy, friendly check I, comfey beds, perfect half way point for meeting friend. Nice walks nearby.
Excellent service at the pub restaurant, staff very professional, friendly and service was fantastic, food was delicious and hot.

Perfect

All I can say that was positive about staying here is the bed was comfortable and the Old Bell food is very good. Now the negatives. The reception are supposed to arrange the time you would like your breakfast the next morning but that didn't happen. Even when I went to ask for it to be arranged my reservation wasn't on the list. I was told it hadn't been added to the booking. This was every morning except the final day.  The bathroom was filthy, the basin plug hole had a stomach turning build up of some indescribable gung that made me feel sick every time I brushed my teeth. There were hairs on the surfaces and the shower tray leaks on the floor from the drain. This must have been leaking for some time because the floor was water damaged. The heater in the room was unbearably noisy, it sounds like someone is hitting it with a spanner all night every time it heats up and cools down. Unfortunately I am booked to stay again next week but I’m seriously thinking about cancelling and booking elsewhere. In my honest opinion it isn’t worth the money. Sorry Premier Inn but that is my honest opinion of my experience.

Wasn't clean and very unorganised 

We stay at Grazeley Green quite regularly to visit a work site near-by. It's a small thing, but the team always remember us and the warm welcome on arrival just adds that little extra. The team are great, and housekeeping always do a good job of presenting the rooms - we never have any complaints! The restaurant on site always has great food and is also very welcoming. It's just a great place to stay!

Good experience as always!

Bed comfortable, but bathroom dirty and a little dated. Also bathroom far too small. Bring your own toilet paper. No iron, limited tea and coffee and could hear noise next door. Breakfast at the adjacent pub not value for money. 

Bang average

Stayed here numerous times over last 6 years booking 3-4 rooms twice a year. Never had any issues however on my most recent trip the cleanliness of the property was very poor. General areas of the property, reception area, stairways and corridors not hoovered. One of our 3 rooms booked had not been serviced and bed not even made/changed. My friend from this room was moved to an accessible room on the ground floor and he had to go to reception next morning to get towels as there were none in that room. My room was stinking of damp/foosty smell that never went away throughout the stay. Bin in my room hadn’t been emptied either. Very poor in comparison to previous stays.
