The best place to stay in Moffat. We have been coming to moffat for years now and the last 4 we have stayed at The Bonnington. It is a big hotel with a homely feel. The people that run it couldn't be nicer. Always happy to help making the stay that much nicer. The function room is great for a large gathering. Cannot recommend enough.

Such a nice place to stay

This was our 2nd visit to The Bonnington and it certainly won't be our last. 9 of us stayed over.. Nan, Granddad, 4 parents and 3 kids (all under 3). Lesley & Paul could not make us feel more welcome. I can honestly say that we've never felt more at home whilst staying somewhere. Thank you so much. We will see you next year. X

The friendliest B&B ever

We had a lovely overnight stay with Lesley and Paul at the Bonnington on our second visit. Very friendly welcome, incredible breakfast (cooked by Paul)!! everything we needed for a fun overnighter. Will be back again. Thanks guys, you made our weekend. Alyson and Gary (Australia).

Great stay at the Bonnington, again!!

We stayed here as a stop off on our way to a friends wedding in Inverness. The hosts were warm & welcoming & provide a superb Scottish Breakfast. Moffat has a range of pubs that serve food & a trip to the nearby Grey Mares tail (waterfall) is recommended.

Great Breakfast!

Recently spent 2 nights at this lovely bed and breakfast. My friend and I had an ensuite double room each. 
The rooms were a good size with plenty of storage space and a tv. The bed was very comfortable. The ensuite was adequate with toiletries provided. The shower took a minute to warm up but then it was a good flow of hot water.  The room was very clean and warm.
The lovely couple who ran the Bonnington were friendly and got to know their guests by spending time in the  lounge in the evening. The lounge had 2 comfy sofas and a tv as well as a microwave and a fridge for the use of guests.
The breakfast was excellent; full Scottish and plenty of it. Cafetiere of very good coffee or tea.
We ventured into the surrounding area to visit Stately homes. The roads are challenging to say the least.
Highly recommended The Bonnington.
