We only stayed at Alderdale B&B one night but we fell in love with this cute little cottage.   It is divided into 2 separate suites, each with its own key.  We stayed in the room on the left and it was perfect for our brief time in Luss.  It's in the heart of the village, next door to the Village Rest bistro and just a short walk from anything you might want to see in Luss.

The room was clean and nicely decorated.  The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room to move around.  There was a table and two chairs by the window, small fridge, microwave, and electric kettle.  Annaliese had stocked the room with breakfast items like cereals, yogurt, fruit as well as coffee and tea.  It was great to be able to eat breakfast while looking out the front window.  

The bathroom is spacious and stocked with soaps and plush towels.  It's minor and certainly not a dealbreaker, but one thing that would be a nice addition is hooks or towels bars near the sink, or a small shelf to put toiletry bags on.  There wasn't anywhere to stow a toiletry bag so we just carried them in and out of the bathroom as needed.  

Luss was very busy with tourist buses when we arrived in the afternoon, but became deserted later in the evening and the next morning.  This cute little BnB works great if you want to wander the village in the evening or early morning without all the gawkers.  For the location and the price, you can't beat Alderdale BnB!

Fantastic Location...Cute Cottage...Great Price!

Great clean and comfortable stop over on our way to Isle of Lewis & Harris, via Isle of Skye......

Parking at Annelise's house a couple of doors up and a five minute walk to hop on a a boat for a tour of Loch Lomond.

Choice of a couple of places to eat dinner too.

Great stop off

We had a lovely overnight stay here in Luss enroute to the Highlands.    Perfectly situated and next to a great restaurant, The Village Rest,  we really enjoyed our stay here.   Our room was really cute, immaculately clean and had a very comfy bed.  Annalise provided a substantial continental breakfast with plenty of choice.    We will definitely stay here again on our next trip up to Scotland. 

Just Lovely!

I absolutely love staying at this b & B , to have everthing you need for a few days stay in a location as beutiful as less is marvellous. Excellent food at the nearby lodge on the loch where you can also visit and watch the sun go down over loch lomond. I do recommend booking for a meal well in advance .

Once again a wonderful stay in a truely beutiful location with everything you need for a few days stay.

Beautiful little village and the b+b is excellent. Lots of lovely little touches and Annelise is very good host. It's very dog friendly area but we learned from the holiday that our dog is not suitable to bring on holidays with us.  For anyone wanting to travel with pets this is lovely option. Highly recommend.  

Quaint cottages with lovely little touches

Just back from an overnight at Alderdale B&B and can’t wait to go again. 
The location is excellent, the value for money is outstanding! Communication with the owner was so easy and nothing was an issue. 
The room is lovely and a lot of thought has went into keeping it traditional but in no way dated. Have avoided B&Bs due to previous bad experiences and this has restored my faith in them again, Annelise thank you so much ☺️

Best B&B in Luss!

We lucked out and found this place when we were unable to continue our drive during the recent flooding. Fortunately Alderdale B&B had a vacancy and we were so happy they did. Small little place with in room continental breakfast, which was honestly perfect for us. We ate dinner at the restaurant about 50 feet from our cottage and walked around the little village that next morning. This a great little spot that we will actually stay again during our next trip.

Great Find!

Lovely bed and breakfast in the heart of Luss . It was spotless, the continental breakfast offered so much choice and the parking arrangements ( on the owners drive) was greatly appreciated .
It was perfect and we highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Perfection

Stayed here on a wee pit stop on the way to the Isle of Skye. Beautiful, quiet wee B&B. Convenient and central to Luss. The room was clean, tidy and cozy. Quiet stay and would definitely come again. Great continental breakfast. Thank you for having us :)

Pit stop

A beautiful cottage, very clean and comfortable. The facilities are great and a lovely breakfast was a bonus. The host, Annelise, is very attentive, informative and friendly.
