Really enjoyed our visit. Been many times and this felt like the Sunbeach me and my children always remember from our first visits. Caravan was wonderful, clean and modern - reception was welcoming albeit got there late first night. Pool was clean and warm. We particularly enjoyed the stay as the park was quiet and the weather calm. Felt previously the park had expanded to quickly - on this visit realised it hadnt lost the shine for me and my children. Hope to be back in February.

Sunbeach At Its Best..

DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE THEIVES!!
I initially left a glowing review because we had a great stay. We followed all the rules even left the caravan clean and tidy.
Yet it has taken nearly a month to receive our deposit back and they have admitted their wording is wrong when you book - 

Security Deposit:

Please be aware there is a £100 security deposit per week and a £50 security deposit for a short break payable on arrival by card and is refunded 7 days after departure.

And upon messaging on Facebook they even admitted they hadn’t requested the cancellation but it’s all my banks fault.

I can not deal with stress due to health conditions which was the main reason we booked this holiday which has been flared up because of this and phone calls from said managers who start their conversations - let me set you straight like I’m an idiot. 

NEVER NEVER AGAIN! 

Greta stay terrible company!!

Upon arrival the team we were really welcoming.  The site is not anything like a regular "haven or similar" site, but they are not trying to be, not aimed at an entertainment site but did have the occasional but of entertainment.  The clubhouse was fine, value for money on the food is really good, the amusement area was big enough to have a bit of fun.  Swimming pool was fine for a bit of a splash but don't expect to do lengths, due to the size of the pool.
The disappointing parts, the need to leave a £100 deposit incase of any damage, not something we have had to do at other sites before.  Having to make and strip beds was not something I would have expected, maybe strip but they could have been made.  The site is very much aimed at the owners, although we felt fine throughout the stay.  Would have been good to get the heads up of having a caravan so close to the clubhouse, especially with a small family as on the Friday the disco finished at midnight, when we are told to vacate the caravan by 10am didn't leave a lot of room for sleep.
Overall not a bad stay, but equally not a great one either.  
2 points that would improve the site, a sign/notice board on entrance to the park showing planned entertainment/events (as you only found out about things if you went into the bar).  Secondly, would have been great midweek to just have some staff pop along to make sure all is well, a bit like being asked if your food is OK when having a meal.

Average at best.

We have just had a super time here, a lovely remote spot, with stunning scenery, sun sets, and enough for our young children and dog to do. We loved visiting local towns, coastal villages, the local Fairbourne railway and adventure places. We rested well, felt well looked after by the reception team and the cleanliness of the site and swimming pool and facilities were fantastic! Very impressed. We only spent one evening at the club bar and staff were very welcoming, our dog even enjoyed a dog ice cream! Very dog friendly.

Stayed on this site for 4 nights with grandchildren, the site appears to be centered around people who own caravans, hardly anything for children to do, pool small and basic and NO LIFEGUARD!! a very small arcade which is very expensive and a small park, the pool was cold we had to get out after 20 minutes and when I told a lady at reception she told me "well no one else has complained " there is no entertainment for children.  The beach is very stoney so you can't sit on it, beautiful views but that's it. It cost us over 700 pounds Monday to Friday but it's a rip off you can't get into your caravan till 4 on the Monday and have to leave at 10 on Friday so you are paying over 700 for 3 days, the caravan itself was ok but basic no home comforts and you have to make all the beds up yourselves then strip them all before you leave, would not recommend this site to anyone, our highlight of the stay was coming home.

Not good

Lovely park, The dog field was great our little dogs loved it. The only complaint is if you want a quiet holiday don't stay near the club house. The banging of a football on  the courts metal fencing goes on till late at night drove us nuts. We don't mind during the day put passed 10.30pm is a bit too much.

The caravan was very nice and clean as were the facilities. 
The staff were very helpful and the food was great and the drinks were not over priced.
The park is located close to the beach and is in an ideal location for walking and cycling. 
With lots to do locally with a bit of planning.

Half term holiday.

This is the most lovely site, it's really clean and well maintained. The caravan was new (we got an unsolicited upgrade which was great) and had simple but much appreciated stuff like a tin opener, bin liners and a really good kitchen with all the kit. The beach was stony, but literally a minute's walk, and frankly with those views, who cares. Fairborne, Tywyn and Barmouth are close if you want a traditional golden sandy beach though. The bar was great value, watching the sun go down from their terrace was a daily highlight. I will certainly come back. 

What a great place for a Welsh holiday 

Came on a 2 week holiday as a family of 5 with 3 children. One with adhd and autism, One under the age of 10 and a 15 year old. There was originally 2 swings on the bigger kinda park and none on the small children’s park. They’ve now changed it to one big swing and a baby swing in the older kids park. If I’m honest I don’t think this was right because they could have just put a small swing in the small park but now have ruined it for the older kids who want to go on the big swing but can’t because there is only one. But overall this is a nice place to stay, alright atmosphere and nice and helpful staff. I recommend this place but honestly not the greatest of you have 3 or more children :)

Just don’t book through Hoseasons they are a disaster no one is available to discuss item I spent 5 hrs trying to contact them when I got through I explained my issues they promised to get back to me the next day by phone 
They never even bothered to call
They don’t tell people when they book that they are only a booking agent and don’t own any properties 
Once they have got your money they don’t care
