Travelodge managers are supposed to regularly inspect the property including the exterior, this broken glass has been outside aigburth travelodge for 3 weeks now , all customers have to walk past it to enter the property

Poor management of property

Condition of room and bathroom was very good, for Christmas 2023 stay. Staff were good, check in was fast, efficient and pleasant. Parking was so easy. My bathroom looked like it was newly fitted. Will use this location again.

Travelodge Aigburth

Good hotel. Conveniently located on a bus route to town. Easy access to the airport too. Chose here as it’s an area I know well. Very convenient for what I wanted to do. Free parking. Drinks next door at the Kingsman ( Toby) reasonable. Lovely Mexican restaurant over the road. 


Christmas break

At 12:30am the fire alarm went off.  Everyone evacuated the building but the staff in charge that night did not have a clue how to handle the situation.  The staff were running around aimlessly.  They decided to do a walk around of the building to see if there was a fire!!!!  After a while they decided that there was no fire but still no one was able to silence the alarm.  By now almost  an hour had passed.  The residence were stood outside waiting for the fire brigade to come, they never did arrive.  One of the residents worked at a Travelodge at a local airport and she took control of the situation.  We were finally told that it was safe to enter but I had no trust in the staff that night after this shambles.  I slept in my clothes that night and so did my husband, just in case it went off again. Nothing was said in the morning when we finally left.  If there had been a fire that night I dread to think of the consequences.  In my opinion the staff were not trained to deal with the situation which I think is abominable in this day and age.  I would not recommend anyone i know to stay at a Travelodge......ever! 

Awful Nights Stay

Our family arranged our stay over a weekend family wedding aand we found the accommodation entirely adequate for our needs including a well arranged disabled bathroom. We did not require the frills of an expensive hotel but the comfort, cleanliness and convenience of this establishment were all that we could expect with the added bonus of helpful and pleasant reception staff. The proximity of the "Toby" Carvery was an added bonus.

Carpet needs replacing.
Furniture was very old and needs updating.
Hotel smelled of drugs throughout and a lot of noise coming from other rooms
I have stayed in quite a few travelodges and this was by far the worst I have stayed in.

Smelly and basic

The staff here are truly amazing, regular visitors and now made to feel like family,  nothing is too much trouble, everything you want is given 

HOWEVER, even tho the staff do everything they can, including cleaning, basically you can’t polish a turd, upstairs the carpets are so worn out you can almost see the downstairs,  please for christ sake, HEQD OFFICE! give this place a major update it needs it, the staff are being let down by the building

Excellent as usual

Excellent hotel, ideal location for our family trip. Made use of the Toby carvery next door to. Receptionist very helpful, room and whole site clean and tidy. Free parking on site. Hope to stay again soon.

Perfect cheap hotel.

Started well.... we arrived early and the receptionist kindly checked for us on how long it would be until we could get in, as it was only 10 mins we popped to the adjoining pub to wait which was good. 
Got in the room and it was okay, the shower had mould in and not enough towels! but as it was only for 1 night we thought we would be okay.
However when returning in the evening, we found that the toilet has a constant flushing sound and the noise from outside was so loud that we had very little sleep. We chose this hotel as it was near family, however we felt we should have used our normal one which was 20mins away. We are due back to Liverpool in 4 days and have cancelled this hotel and spent more on our normal hotel. 
It was only myself and my daughter and to be honest we did not feel safe, the door is a key entry so there is nothing on the inside to double lock and we were right near the entrance.
