Birch view was a great place to hire for the weekend catching up with friends. Lovely accommodation. A real home from home. Plenty of space and gorgeous views. Hot tub was great to have and any questions we had or queries were dealt with swiftly. Great base for Clark’s village, Glastonbury and lovely walks.

We've just stayed at Birchview house and have had a lovely holiday there once again for the second year running of staying in Millbatch holiday lets. The accommodation is very clean, well maintained and is in lovely grounds. The open plan ground floor complete with an outdoor hot tub was great for a relaxing family holiday. We will definitely return.

Visited Millbatch Farm during Glastonbury for a second time and stayed in a lodge villa room overlooking the fields at the back of the farm complex.  Peaceful,  great hosts and a fab breakfast for us both, would definitely recommend.

Glastonbury 2023

Excellent accommodation at this homely b & b - very clean, comfortable and extremely well situated to explore the lovely area around Meare and Glastonbury.  Superb breakfast with local produce and served by very friendly staff, who also helped us with directions and queries about our surroundings. 
Large room with large bathroom - plenty of accessories and fluffy towels.  Really cosy feel.
Have already booked to return in September for me and my husband’s anniversary.   


Lovely place to stay

À place to avoid. No help from the owner when we called him to ask for our towels that we had hung out to dry but didn’t find when we got back. One roll of toilet paper for 2 days for a family of four… biscuits 4 months  out of date … miserable breakfast service from an unhelpful lady… avoid the place if you are looking for quality and quiet: the family room is overlooking a parking space opposite a road. Windows locked so impossible to get some fresh  air… and no locks on the rooms. Dinner room locked and available only at breakfast times..avoid the place if you don’t want to feel treated as a herd of cattle rushed in and out by a business focused landowner.

Talks to you as if you are a dog and is.superior to you.
My wife had to stop me from replying, and getting involved, I am not 8 years old, not the business you should be in male owner, need to know how to interact with the human race.
Very busy and noisy road outside. Windows closed or no sleep.
AVOID just for the horrendous pompus I am it male owner.

This was our second stay at Millbatch Farm, we have used it twice as a stopping off point to break up our annual holiday to Cornwall from our home in Stockport. Annabelle was a superb host who really made us feel welcome, especially our two year old daughter who's a very energetic and inquisitive kid. 
We were upgraded to the family deluxe room without asking which was a lovely surprise. The room is very spacious, impeccably clean and everything you'd expect in a well run B&B.
Annabelle recommended the local fish and chip restaurant in Glastonbury which we used which was also superb.
The breakfast was hearty and very filling and extremely satisfying.
I have absolutely no problem recommending this place to others and I know for a fact that we will be back next time we are down in the south-west.

Fantastic B&B which we will visit again

The deluxe family room met every requirement needed for our overnight stay. Very clean and tidy, easy to find and good parking. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice (cereal or cooked) and cooked as requested.  A really lovely place. Annabel text on the day to confirm our arrival time. Limited phone reception but could ping a txt by the front door however excellent internet so watapps the rest of the stay. The Farm house is in the middle of the village and very near a nature reserve but didn’t have time to explore. The B&B is a family home and this is explained when we arrived and caused no problem. 
Could have accessed the garden but we kept to our onsuite room as tired (power shower was lush). The room was a little warm due a west facing window however we pulled the curtains and used the counterpane instead of the duvet. We would stay again.

A lovely B&B that met all our needs.

Under new staff management since last time we have visited. We were greeted by Annabel, who was very happy to see us and she showed us to the room. The set up of the room was lovely, clean, fresh and tidy ready for us to settle in for the night. In the morning we were welcomed in the breakfast room by Annabel, she served  up the best fried breakfast that we have ever had and catered for all our needs and she couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend staying here.

Brilliant Service

As it's under new staff management, what a lovely welcome by the pretty Annabel, all smiles and couldn't do enough for us!
Breakfast was amazing and being wheat free Annabel totally catered to my needs to make sure I didn't miss out on any food.
We had our room ungraded too! We are looking forward to our return there soon.
I'd recommend it to friends and family to stay.
