We have an appartment in area but wanted visiting family to use it so we booked Royal Standard which was well above are expectations. Owners made us welcome wth clean. large and comfortable room whch we used for tywo weeks. Breakfasts were excelent!

Comfortable stay whilst Australian Family in England

Never stayed at this B&B before and my wife and I needed a place to stay in a hurry due to family reasons. Booked in the morning and arrived the same afternoon. We were given a choice of two rooms to best suit our needs, and were made to feel very welcome. 
Excellent breakfast. Clean and tidy. Handy for many local attractions. 
Will certainly stay again.

Really friendly place to stay

This guesthouse came recommended to us by our friends (it’s only a short walk from their house).

It was perfect for our one night stay. We had a double room with en-suite. The room faced the garden (room 1) and was lovely and peaceful. The decor is a little tired but it did not bother us. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom/shower great.

The breakfast was great, nicely cooked and very tasty. The host was super friendly and very polite.

It is exactly what we needed: a great nights sleep with a good breakfast - just perfect.

Simply put: just perfect 

Clean, quiet, safe, budget-friendly inn with large yard and plenty of parking close to Heathrow (and friends I was visiting) and Windsor. Good continental or hot breakfast provided. Owner is friendly and helpful.

Great Value

We Stayed here whilst attending ascot race course. Room was perfect, clean and good size. Staff all very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of parking and a nice big garden, perfect for children. Breakfast was great with a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Fab little place

We had room 10, very large with matching bathroom and at front so a bit noisy from road which is busier than expected.Access to all rooms not really best first impression - actually thru back door- but prob best use made of what was front entrance which is now breakfast room. Breakfast ok , but pretty basic. Hosts very good.
Having said all that one could not really expect better for the price which is very reasonable for the location. We would stay again knowing what to expect.


Comfortable clean room

The rooms were tastefully furnished and had comfy chairs to sit in as well as comfy beds. the rooms are a very good size and even though we had a roadside room we were not disturbed by the traffic noise. The hosts were helpful and friendly and even arranged a taxi for us. Breakfast was good, freshly cooked to order. I would highly recommend this guest house as it idealy located for a number of local attractions with plenty of parking.

very good B & B

The room was very nice and clean, the staff friendly, though absent when we were trying to check out, and the cooked breakfast was excellent. At the time of looking it was one of the cheapest b&b's in the area but it had everything we needed and were both happy with it.

A decent place to stay

We stayed at the Royal Standard as we were among the members of the public invited to the Royal Wedding.  The room was ideally placed on the ground floor as my husband has mobility problems, there was a convenient smoking area for him too. The grounds are lovely. Mr and Mrs Sohi were very helpful, especially advising us on the best way to get back from Windsor on such a busy day, and advising us where to eat.  It would have been nice to have a pot of tea and/or real coffee (filter or cafetiere) with breakfast. Other than that It was ideal!

A weekend to remember

My wife and I enjoyed a pleasant stay and a nice breakfast.
Our twin bedroom was perfectly acceptable, with a nice view of their large garden.
Our hosts, Mr and Mrs Sohi, were charming, interesting and helpful.
