Easy to find, lots of parking space, checked in straight forward and warm comfy quiet room as per most Premier inns, Evening meal service was exceptional, and lovely views, wanders by the forth. Great location. 

Spot on

Lovely location on the picturesque waterside. Very convenient public transport close by. Quiet room, comfy bed, good shower. Tatty room and hotel but it was very clean and safe with awesome staff. Vegan food available, so I was happy.

….and it was a really positive experience. Clean, comfortable and felt very safe. Will defo use Premier Inn again.

First time in a Premier Inn

This hotel wasn't cheap at +/- £125 a night, but it certainly hadn't had much spent on it.  Very tired room with filthy windows, looking out on to rubbish strewn grass/brick wall, the room was extremely dated.  The lampshades were split, tile joints black.  The bed was comfortable but no place to sit comfortably to chill.  I've already booked an alternative hotel for another upcoming stay.  
I didn't expect 4* but this was not VFM.

Desperate for update

We stayed at the Edinburgh Leith hotel as we were taking our daughters away during the half term on a family break and we had stayed at the hotel before. The hotel did not disappoint and had everything we asked for. We had pre-booked breakfast also and that worked out well for us as a family of four. The location was ideal as it was nice and quiet which suited our needs. Staff were friendly, the room was clean and everything was convenient. Will definitely return! 

Family break

Ok you get what you pay for and at £45 for a standard room one night is good. Premier Inns are my first stop for value and a Goodnight sleep. I’ve even bought your pillows online. However this was not a good experience at all the hotel overall is definitely in desperate need of a refurbishment. Leith is now a very upmarket place to visit. Premier Inn Leith does not offer this at all. I would not consider staying here again 

Not a good experience 

The hotel requires a full upgrade. We have stayed at Premier Inns in the past but this hotel was certainly not up to the standard of the others. Huge holes in carpets, grubby rooms in need of a complete refurbish. Tea cups in rooms had big chips evident. Only one bath towel provided for two adults. We would never stay there again and certainly wouldn’t recommend. 

Awful

Usual Premier Inn hotel, basic but clean. Ideal for base when visiting Edinburgh due to nearby tram/bus stops where you can buy a day ticket for getting around. Attached Brewer's Fayre is ok for breakfast or meal & no charge for parking, no air-con in room but there was a large fan in our room.

Trip to Edinburgh

We enjoyed another excellent stay in this Premier Inn. We booked our stay around four months ago but didn’t receive any confirmation. I phoned up and our booking was definitely on their system. We need an accessible room due to my hidden disability and everything was good for us. The bathroom looked like it had new flooring since our last visit but the bathroom still smelt of damp or mildewed shower curtain. Not a nice smell.
However, this cannot take away from the quality of our stay. This hotel is like a home from home for us. I can come here knowing my needs are always met. We stay here several times a year and never have a problem. Prices are great. Our Sunday room was only £40 for the night. We stayed two nights. 
Busses are opposite the hotel and drop off outside too. The trams are a couple of minutes from the hotel and a great way to travel. 
We look forward to our next visit.

Another excellent stay

Room was very good, breakfast was reasonable but the bar closing time was very early & strange. Trams to central Edinburgh were close & regular, good restaurant nearby & nice little bar close by, hotel bar closed early
