We had a great stay at Lauren House Jackie was so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic! We needed to find transportation back to Edinburgh and she was able to secure a taxi for us. If you happen to be going to Dumfries I would highly recommend.

Great stay at the Lauren House

Excellent property
An awesome place to stay. Everything is superb - did not dine there for breakfast as was fasting for a hospital operation.Exceptionally clean room and the double bed was very comfortable. Only a 200 yard walk to local bus routes either way and a very quiet area to sleep in. Heating all night was much appreciated as it was below freezing all night. Hostess Jackie was chatty on arrival but leaves you alone after showing you the room and TV setup. 
Will tell my friends to stay here and will visit again when deciding on a night in Dumfries.

Excellent Property

Great communication.clean and spacious rooms.breakfast piping hot and amazing.hosts extremely welcoming/friendly..ideally placed for dumfries ice bowl.queen of the south fc .both only 5-10 min walk...

This is the best B&B we've ever stayed in and the best breakfast ever.
Stayed 3 nights.  The host Jackie is an amazing lady. She had so much energy and was always laughing and nothing was too much trouble for her 
The rooms were spotless.  The bed was so comfortable.  Plenty of tea and coffee and biscuits.  Very reasonably priced too.
We would definitely recommend Lauren House

Fantastic Place 

This was the best & most friendliest B&B I have ever stayed in. Jackie & Jimmy are best hosts. Nothing was to much bother. 
Rooms are lovely, very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. 
Would definitely have a return stay. 

Excellent stay 

I and 2 friends stayed here for one night and were amazed how clean, comfortable and welcoming this outstanding B and B was which I came across by chance.Everything was first class and we intend staying there on our next visit to Dumfries. Jackie is so friendly and made our stay.

Great Find

Just spent 7 nights at this wonderful B&B. Jackie and Jim were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely and clean and the breakfasts we had were perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is going to Dumfries.

Picturesque b&b with gorgeous gardens, within a 10 minute walk to Dumfries town centre. Nothing too much trouble for our host, Jackie, who was exceptionally accommodating and so friendly. The breakfast was of restaurant quality and fabulous portion sizes. We stayed in room 2 at the back of the property and whilst not en-suite, we did have access to our own private bathroom. We will most definetely visit again and would highly recommend.

I stayed at Lauren House for two nights, lovely quiet room and delicious breakfast. Jackie was friendly and welcoming, and even gave me a lift to where I was working when the heavens opened! Highly recommended

Jackie was a friendly host. She was willing to cook up an early breakfast and assist me with transport to+from the accommodation. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The B&B is much recommended.
