Beautiful vast space with peaceful surroundings. Great facilities with a very warm helpful lady Steph. Stunning views of the fields that go on for miles. Lots of wildlife. The town Chatteris is not to far at all a mile or two for local amenities. We hope to see you again very soon! Thanks.

I stayed at Kings Barn Farm in late September, a busy time for farmers!. Staying at Kings Barn is perfect for business, i could finish my day of meetings and concentrate on admin work back in my room in silence. Fast WIFI, brilliant breakfast and some superb morning views.

I stayed on business so I was glad to have somewhere with fast WiFi. The room was really big (Hayloft), with a sofa, lovely shower room, robe and slippers, nice breakfast. I was very comfortable, I wasn't sure at first about the memory foam mattress but I got used to it. I often find it hot and stuffy in some hotels in summer but there were velux windows to let fresh air in. Lovely to be out in the country and every night there was a glorious sunset!

The B&B was a beautiful farm house with clean with tastefully modern and furnished rooms. We were a family of 5 who stayed in one room. The space was adequate and 'cosy'. Breakfast was fantastic and all products were of high quality. Steff herself was a lovely host.
There were only a few negatives to speak of.  Firstly, If you don't know the area don't travel in the dark, especially either a Sat nav. It's really hard to find and near impossible to see at night. It's not that well sign posted either. Secondly, ensure you eat before you arrive; we found a place that delivered but upon its arrival we realised we had no cutlery and we're unable to get hold of any or borrow some. You are not allowed to consume hot food in the rooms. 
Also, if you don't like dogs then probably not the place for you although my kids were entertained by them. Upon our arrival no one was in and it would have been nice to be greeted and shown to our rooms instead of fumbling around in the dark and trying to find our way round. 
Again, the room was lovely; we had a mini fridge, good-sized TV, iron and hairdryer. Overall a great experience.

Great place to stay!

A lovely place

I was scheduled to stay here in August 2015. Due to traffic, I arrived at the Kings Barn 10.30pm on the day of the check-in (I informed the host that I would likely arrive between 9 - 10pm prior to leaving London, at that stage I was not aware of road closures closer to the place). I was provided with a pin to enter the property in case nobody was there, which sounds all well.

Upon reaching the property two things occurred:

[1] The provided pin to enter the farm did not work
[2] Nobody was reachable by phone (or at the property, which I expected)
[3] Everything was pitch dark, there was no lightning to allow guests to find the B&B. once the property had been entered (I had to take my laptop as a light source and leave my car behind and walk)

After attempting to find the entrance to the room, I finally gave up as it approached mid-night. I decided the wisest thing was to drive back to Cambridge to find a hotel to stay for the night. 

The following day, my entire stay was cancelled by the host as I did not arrive before 10pm -- here go 200GBP. 

I am sure the place is lovely and I can forgive giving me the wrong pin to enter the gate, but it would have been common courtesy and something I come to expect to be reachable by phone in such situations, especially given the price for a night! In addition, the entire tone of the replies with the host seemed condescending and blaming it all on me! 

I'm sure you'll have a lovely stay, just make sure you do not arrive before 10pm OR have an emergency which will lead you needing to contact the host after 10.
