A return trip to The Roseleigh. We were remembered and welcomed. As ever the accommodation was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and the cooked breakfast was tasty and served promptly. Lovely location next to the lake. A good choice of local places to walk to for an evening meal and the Roseleigh gave helpful advice on where to go.

Glad to return

Roseleigh Guest House is situated in an idyllic setting off a quiet road.  Some bedrooms overlook the small lake in Pavilion Park and you can see all the interesting wildlife that it supports.  The Roseleigh is only a few minutes’ walk from the Buxton Opera House and most of this is on a non traffic road.  This will be the fourth time my wife and I have stayed at the Roseleigh; it is our first choice when looking for accommodation in Buxton.  The quality of fittings and fixtures inside the Roseleigh is one of the best we have seen in a guest house.  The breakfast food is delicious; there is also information provided on which local suppliers they use.  When you book Roseleigh they send detailed information about what to do in Buxton and the restaurants they would recommend.  All the staff at Roseleigh are friendly and helpful.

Our First Choice

This is a perfect B&B. Large double rooms, en suite, large double bed, built in wardrobe and separate chest of drawers. Excellent traditional English breakfast served by friendly and efficient staff. Instant hot water at the sink and shower. The hotel is on the Broad Walk facing the Pavilion Lake. No disturbance from traffic, only from geese and ducks! Lots of advice available for tourists unfamiliar with Buxton and/or the Peak District.

The perfect B&B

Such a friendly greeting from the owner. Everywhere was spotless, our room was enormous and a lovely comfy king-size size bed. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice, I just had the porridge and toast but my husband had the scrambled egg and smoked salmon as it was good Friday and we don't eat meat on that day, but there was an option of a cooked breakfast which all looked good. The hotel was in prime location of all pubs and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely return, think we have found our go to place finally in Buxton. Thanks for a lovely stay

Outstanding

A nice one night's stay last week when visiting for work.  Spotlessly clean room, comfy bed, good location, good breakfast, lots  of parking, informative hosts.  Nothing not to like! Well worth a stay when visiting Buxton, could come back again.

Superb rooms in a lovely setting.  Brilliant and considerate hosts.  Everything a guest house should be. The rooms are stylishly furnished and the furniture very comfortable.  The breakfasts were perfect and the staff very very helpful

We had a lovely welcome when we arrived at Roseleigh hotel, lovely clean hotel staff where so polite and friendly breakfast was amazing room was really clean
Location is really good and the view from the hotel looking across the lake is lovely.  Will definitely be booking roseleigh again.  Thank you

Lovely stay

We were given a warm welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable, with everything we may need.The staff at breakfast were helpful and polite. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. We would love to return. Infact I'm going to book today for February.

Buxton's Best B and B‐--‐- Roseleigh.

We booked an overnight stay bed and breakfast, on 17/09/23, we were visiting the opera house.
We had a wonderful surprise, this beautiful guest house, was very clean, hand gels throughout the building.
We were lucky to have a view of the lake and the park,wonderful!! Our room was very big, the bed was so comfortable we went to sleep straight away, so cosy we didn’t want to get up in the morning. 
The breakfast was so tasty, my husband had extra sausage and bacon, extra toast too. It was very efficiently run, the staff were very attentive, the owner Gerry was very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.
We hope to visit this beautiful hotel again in the future, maybe 2 nights stay next time,  We would highly recommend Roseleigh, a lot of the guests there were returning guests, which speaks for itself. Thank you. 

Beautiful guest house, no complaints.

This was our second stay at the Roseleigh and the same high standards were in place. 
The Roseleigh is situated in a quiet location, although in close proximity with the town and the Opera House.
 We would highly recommend the Roseleigh to anyone who is planning a visit to Buxton.
