Stayed for 2 nights for our 29th wedding anniversary.. We were early & had a lovely welcome, because of train strikes someone else had cancelled & we were shown & offered a choice of rooms which we really appreciated.’ Rooms are quirky & all very individual. We had room Usk, right at the top but suited us so well, quiet & a front view. Lovely clean comfy bed, great shower & we even used the in room bath. Toilet & sink were in a rather too small space, much like an airplane loo ! Breakfast was delicious & service first class. We used the bar once for a pre going out drink, it certainly has lots of choice. Love the individuality of this great hotel & the service. Would definitely recommend & hope to return x
