Stayed here a few times and it is what it is cheap and cheerful with safe parking. joe the owner is a genuine guy always have a laugh and a joke never had a problem with him. No breakfast but there is a cafe 5 mins walk from the b and b so no issue there and close to all the bars amd shops. If you want the ritz or savoy then don't come here if you are looking for a good night's sleep and a hot shower it is perfect. I will never stay anywhere but here from now on.

The only place me and my mates will stay

Arrived at this property and showed to a room by an older Indian gent who came across very friendly.(how wrong were we) Seemed fine at first until I moved our luggage in. Noticed that the pillow cases were dirty and stained (brown) . The drawers were full of crumbs and I can only describe as if a toaster had been emptied into one.  Decided to ask if my pillowcases could be changed . Went to the owners room and knocked on the door . Politely I asked and was told in a very blunt fashion to get my stuff and leave the hotel. I was an extremely fussy woman. I rang my husband who had been to park the car and upon his return the owner basically told us to “F*** off and couldn’t give a S*** about trip advisor. A vile awful man who is a disgrace to respectable hotel owners . My husband was so disgusted he said he could have gladly swung for him but he was an older man so wasn’t  right. Please do not stop here as it is dirty and the owner is disgusting and should be ashamed of himself. His wife apologised several times on behalf of her husband. Poor lady.

Worse place iv ever encountered 
The manager had a bad attitude 
The hotel hasn’t been cleaned or hoovered in what looked like centuries 
there’s mould and dust coating the bedroom entirely.
This hotel is in need of “hse” 
The fire exit is not existent as it’s locked 
The tv doesn’t work 
The bedding was in used condition 
 
We booked for the weekend and just about managed the night

Avoid at all costs

I knew this was a budget hotel and did not expect a great deal, my expectations were met. We went as a group of 8 adults in 5 rooms, I have to say the room myself and my wife were in was fine for the price but a couple of the others were way below standard with many issues. The owner (and his partner) were pleasant enough on arrival but there was an issue with the owner claiming one of our group had left one of the communal showers running and was threatening, yes threatening my sister, that we would be charged for this. As it turned out the shower and lighting in the shambles of a shower room it was (see attached pics) had faulty electrics and was turning the shower and light on itself. And as you can see from the picture of the tower from my window, not the cleanest of establishments either. I would recommend avoiding this place as even though the location is excellent the hotel unfortunately is not.

Expect a bed, just a bed

Just returned from a family weekend to Blackpool would not recommend this hotel at all as it is so dated(80s style) the bed we had,had 2 mattresses on and made the stay so uncomfortable the pillows were like bricks they were so hard,the en suite we had the shower door was hanging off the shower head itself had just had plaster stuck around it to keep it in place also we had a small flat screen tv in room which would have been great had it nog bern on top of the wardrobe and not able to see from the bed as had a bunk beds in our room. Joe also attempted to blame my dad for leaving a communal shower on all day which he also said if we didn't cover the cost of this would be reported when advised to check his cctv which he has on a big screen in the lounge advised he didn't have the password do came across as trying to scam more money outta people. Would definitely not be recommending to people and certainly will not be returning even tho it was close to the sea front

Avoid at all cost

stayed here just for 1 night  after leaving the most horrendous hotel ever HQ over the road. Its was cozy and very clean and we had a great nights sleep. Would recommed this hotel the manager was extremely nice also. thanks again for our unexpected stay my other 5 companions appreciated the rooms also.

Clean and comfortable

We stayed here over the Easter bank holiday ignore the bad reviews, we had a lovely time my boyfriend and baby too, they are a lovely family what run this business very close to sea life and the tower we had a brilliant time here, Angela the owners daughter is very friendly and such a lovely girl, has her parents we would defiantly stay here again. 

Nice family run business 

We had a problem with a booking so had to stay here at last minute, B&B were very accommodating despite us arriving late. 

+ friendly owner (who waited up for our late arrival), accommodating, clean room, separate private bathroom (despite booking saying shared), good location, no noise at night in accommodation, family-friendly, surplus tea and coffee, good rate through last minute booking, bags left on last day. 

- smallest room probably (last available as the B&B was fully booked), at front- so slight noise from opposite hotel but to be expected in the centre of Blackpool, decor could do with an update but this was not a problem to us, no breakfast available- may be worth the B&B charging more and offering this. 

All in all a good stay, nice weekend. We would return. 

Pleasant and friendly 

I wasn’t expecting a lot from this hotel as it was the cheapest we could find - you definitely get what you pay for. Hotel guy was friendly enough but asked us to pay in cash, which we were suspicious of. First thing we noticed when we went into our room was the disgusting smell - damp, dirty, musky. The room was tiny but fit in 1 double and 1 single bed which is what we wanted. The mattresses were ridiculous, seriously need to be replaced!! You can’t sit on the  beds without  rolling around as they have lost all firmness. Bedsheets were basic, standard hotel style and I guess reasonably clean but definitely need to be replaced - so faded you can tell their age. I was very itchy when trying to sleep and I just hope it wasn’t bed bugs! There was a working radiator in the room so at least it was warm. The bathroom had a toilet, sink & shower but the sink had a crack in and the shower was rusty on the floor by the plug hole, plus one of the ceiling panels was broken. Tea and coffee is provided free with a kettle in the room. There was only 1 accessible plug socket so using kettle and charging 3 people’s phones was a bit impossible! Small tv, no problems there. Reasonably quiet too, so if the mattresses were replaced and the rooms given a good clean then this hotel could be nice. Overall, I’m glad I’m going home today and would not return to or recommend this hotel. As I said, I wasn’t expecting a lot but I was expecting it to be a lot cleaner. 

Would not recommend

Came here for one night at Easter, the man who greeted us was very friendly and helped us with our luggage up to the room. We had a twin room at the top of the building with a shared bathroom. The room was small but cosy and the beds were comfy and bedding was clean. Lots of towels provided and the bathroom was functional but perhaps could do with an update.
When we left the man and his wife were there to see us off and they are very friendly and pleasant.
All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others looking for a short break in the center of blackpool.
