Just back from a weekend here to see the fireworks. Mick and Malcolm were fantastic hosts. Only saw Mick on arrival and departure but Malcolm looked after us very well. Always had a chat and was very good to our two kids. The room had plenty towels plus more than enough teas and coffees which were replenished daily. Location is great also, only 5-10 minute walk at most to coral island/tower. Parking on site was great also. Only small suggestion I'd give would be a slightly bigger telly but by no means a deal breaker. Would definitely come back and highly recommend.

Lovely weekend getaway 

What a joy to stay here! Mal was so helpful, greeted us on arrival, and was there for our whole stay. Nothing was too much trouble! It's a ten minute walk to the central pier and about the same to North pier and the Houndshill shopping centre. Brilliant location! 
The hotel smelled lovely, was spotless, and facilities were great. Beds were lovely and comfy, so we had two wonderful nights sleep. It felt like a home away from home. Keep up the good work fellas! 

Lovely, humble, perfectly located hotel! 

Myself and my partner have just gotten home and I couldn't wait to write a review because before we left we rang the bell to say goodbye and no-one answered the door 😢 Malcolm and Mike have been absolutely wonderful, Malcolm wanted to carry our luggage in for us but I didn't let him, I only let him hold the door, Malcolm has been wonderful to sit and talk to, listening to the history of how he got to work at the Beachcomber. We saw Malcolm wait up for hotel guests in case "we forgot our key". Malcolm could not have been more of a gentleman if he tried he was fantastic. Mike was just as kind and welcoming just we only sadly seen him on annual and departure. Malcolm did out room service. The room itself was more than enough for us for our weekend away, we will definitely be staying again 🙂🙂 Thankyou to both Mike and Malcolm you are excellent hotel owners 😎

The Beachcomber is very tired, with  shabby decor. Uncomfortable bed although was clean. Floor in the bathroom very uneven. Furniture in room old and shabby. Definitely needs a facelift. Not good value for money in Blackpool. Only positive is a good location for the Tower.


Not the best!!!

Well welcomed.. clean..tidy..Just what you need for a weekend stay...
Centrally situated..near all amenities..only thing they didn't do was breakfast but what do you expect for the price overall it was a great stay..
Mick was a great host..

Weekend Away

Just had a three night stay at the Beachcomber with two teenage grandchildren. 
Reception is in need of a good spruce up and although clean the carpet and walls are dismal but our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.  Our family room was very spacious, piles of soft fluffy towels, soap, shower gel and more than enough tea, coffee and milk, all of which was replenished daily.
Beachcomber situated a few minutes from the town centre and sea front, and parking on the premises was certainly a bonus.
Weather not too kind on a couple of days but was really great coming back to a lovely warm room in the evening.
Good value for money, would highly recommend

Half term break

Stayed at the Beachcomber hotel for a short break over Christmas. The staff are friendly and so accommodating, the room was fabulous! The breakfast was delicious. The location for a stay in Blackpool is perfect as it is located on Reads Avenue so everything is just a short walk away. 

I was overall very impressed with the Beachcomber Hotel. Highly recommended!

Great hotel, great location

Hotel was clean bit dated but staff very friendly, carpets in main areas could do with been changed, rooms decent size with evrything u would expect, bit what we paid good value for money, close to centre of blackpool for shops and pubs.

Weekend in blackpool

All I can say is fantastic. Stayed here for 3 nights with friends. Staff were so helpful nothing was to much trouble. Our rooms were great with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was second to none, and the fact that all our different orders were remembered was excellent.
It’s a very close walk to all the sights.
Would highly recommend this well run family hotel 😊😊😊
