I have stayed in Ballymoney many times over the years when visiting friends and family but booked Pinetrees for the first time after a good recommendation. Elaine is an excellent host of a lovely property just a 5 minute walk to the main street in the town. I was quickly introduced to the other constant residents Ying, Yang, Indie and Guinness, Elaine’s delightful 4 little dogs who welcome you but pretty much leave you to yourself after that. The room was spotless with a comfortable bed and a super power shower. 
The breakfasts are top class and Elaine seems to extend as much care into preparation and service of the breakfast if she were serving 10 guests or 1.
We are attending a wedding next year near the town so have already booked for the wife and kids. 
Highly recommended and great value for money.

Stayed at Pinetrees Bed & Breakfast last weekend and what a stay!
Fantastic place, cleanliness is second to none, amazing host but the breakfast ..........  all I can say is we only had a salad in the evening!

Would I recommend it "ABSOLUTELY"

Outstanding B&B

Very nice, fondly and clean house and room managed perfectly by the lovely Eliane. Perfect location: nice activities and good services around, leisure center,easy transports to everywhere, kind people in the village, good information...
This is the perfect place to stay for relaxing or sports and tourist activities.

This place is perfect

Not one to write reviews but since we went off the reviews to book Elaine's wonderful home I thought I would share our experience. We had a lovely spacious room for our 4 night stay. Elaine was brilliant, very friendly (as were her two dogs Guinness and Indie) and always made time to have a chat. We were allowed to come and go as we pleased. The room was clean and was always nice and warm. Added bonus was the electric blankets on the bed as we did get some chilly nights but were never cold in the room at night. We only had breakfast on the last morning as we aren't breakfast people, but it was lovely as you got everything included (large menu choice). We come to Ireland every year to visit family and have both said we will be 100% booking Pinetrees for next year. Best B&B we have ever stayed in and what a wonderful host! Thank you so much Elaine. :) X

Lovely stay!

As soon as we decided to come back to Ireland and NI, we messaged Elaine regarding our dates. She is the the most lively person, great cook and her B&B is top notch. She serves at a communal table for breakfast so you always get to met other world travelers. This time we met a German couple. Breakfast is outstanding - of all the places we stay, this is the best!!! We had once again, room 1 and it is perfect for our needs. A Euro king with all sorts of little touches. I even like the pillows and I am very picky on my pillows! She is convenient to so many areas from Belfast to the coast and great restaurants are close like Molly's, Harry's Shack, Wild Duck Inn.

Our always stay place!

Just had three nights at this wonderful establishment.  Nothing was too much trouble for our host, Elaine.  The room was very clean and comfy and breakfast was fantastic.  Elaine was very helpful with information about sightseeing.  The property is in a nice quiet residential area but handy for the town, the railway station and the road system.  Overall, we couldn't have been happier with our stay.

Excellent Stay

Elaine's wonderful house is located in Ballymoney, a town closed to the most beautiful attractions of Northern Ireland. The landlady is very friendly and hospitable and it was nice to chat with her: she gave us a lot of tips for what to see and where to eat. The room is very nice, clean and tidy, with a large bathroom and a big comfortable bed. Breakfast costs 5 pounds and you can eat everything you want, from croissants, pancakes and bread with a wide selection of jams to eggs, tomatoes and sausages, all cooked by this fantastic landlady.
Wi-fi is present and works well.
Both cash and cards are accepted. 

Just wow!

Our 4-nights stay in Elaine's wonderful B&B was in short: fantastic. We felt very very comfortable the whole time. Our room (Room Nr. 1 ) was very clean, big, cosy and absolutely nothing 
 missing. Everything was just the way you wanted it to be.

Elaine has been a very nice hostess, who took wonderful care of us. She gave us a lot of good tips for our excursions, spoiled us with a very tasty breakfast and took the time every day for a nice chat. Her two cute dogs Guinness and Indie (the boss) also gave us a lot of fun ;). 

We were already in many B&Bs, but this was by far the best one so far. You will notice the difference at the latest when you travel on and spend the night in a "normal" B&B again. I assure you, you will miss the Pinetrees at the latest then ;) 

Many thanks again to Elaine and we'll be happy to come back when we're near again.  Thumbs up!

One of a kind

Spent 3 nights in this beautiful property.  The rooms are beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean.  Elaine is a great cook and the breakfast is substantial and delicious.  There are a couple of good pubs/restaurants within walking distance. This is a great spot to stay if you want a base to explore Northern Ireland. Highly recommend.
