What a delightful stay we had at Heart of Glencoe. Everything we needed and more with lovely little extras (tea, coffee,, sugar, fresh milk and biscuits) also lovely soap, shower gel and shampoo this would, I’m sure, be a welcome touch for people arriving late at night, tired and in need of a drink. All the instructions and directions were all very clear and easy to follow. Our beautiful cabin was super clean and the the views were outstanding. 
 “Bertie” lived his best life. Thank you Vicky and Keith lovely to meet you both too.

Delightful cabin in Glencoe

We stayed in a gold plus caravan. It was immaculate.  There was coffee tea biscuits cake and a pint of milk to welcome us. There was a nice information folder with details of local amenities and a variety of walk descriptions. The location is perfect for exploring walking straight from site or a short drive to so many different walks. Once back from the walks the shower was hot and caravan warm and cosy even in middle of January. Really cannot fault the place. Woukd have stayed forever if we could. Woukd recommend to anyone and everyone. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in the alpine bunkhouse which is hostel style with bunk beds. We loved it. It teens love the privacy curtains on the bed too! It’s well equipped, simple, and tidy in the most beautiful setting.  Owners are friendly and accommodating. If you have a car it’sa quick trip to the local coop for groceries.  We would definitely go back. 

All around great.

The caravan I was given was in excellent condition, clean & tidy, rooms were well appointed. Kitchen was stocked with all utensils you could want. The location for exploring Glencoe is perfect, set in quiet location but within easy access to the area.
The managers were available when contacted as the TV wasn't working but they got it to work quickly, not important to some but wanted to watch the football. beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and large enough. I visited in December so was cold but the heating was set to keep the caravan warm enough. I would recommend this facility to everyone who wants to visit Glencoe. 

Excellent facility

An amazing hostel set among the mountains of Glencoe. They pay attention to every detail - the kitchen in the Alpine suite was clean (as were the rooms and bathrooms) and well-supplied with cooking materials; the beds and sheets were nice, and the overall effect was extremely welcoming and comforting after days hiking in the cold. 

A massive "thank you" is due to the proprietors of the hostel, who accommodated us for a second night on very short notice after the buses out of Glencoe were cancelled due to weather! Your hostel is amazing and we will definitely be returning with friends in the spring.

Amazing hostel in Glencoe

We chose Caravan, which was very clean and comfortable. This place is very good located, surrounded by nature, very quiet, with a beautiful view from the window. Kitchen well stocked. The water under the shower was too hot, and there was a problem to set up the temperature. Everything else was fine. I can recommend that place. 

Good choice 

The caravan is cosy and warm even in midwinter. It has all the home comforts you could wish for and the location is fantastic - it really is in the heart of Glencoe - so just a short walk (or drive) from many of the trails you’ll want to do.  We like quiet, private accommodation and this ticks both boxes. Add to that everything everybody else has said about how clean and welcoming (coffee, biscuits, milk) it is. We had a lovely stay and plan to be back before too long.

A great wee stay

As Arnie once said "I'll be back". I loved so much about Heart of Glencoe & Bidean eco cabin:

1) Great booking system with a very informative email pre-stay & friendly replies to emails.

2) They allow dogs.

3) They offer a solo traveller discount, which is quite rare so I was very grateful for this.

4) Amazing location, if you love nature, the outdoors and adventures, I think that you'll love it here. On my first morning I saw 2 stag on the road by the entrance to the site.

 It's a great base to do a few local walks, Pap of Glencoe is close by, Glen Lochan Forest, Signal Rock & if you watched Harry Potter you can visit the place where Hagrid's Hut was based for some of the films & a few other sets were there too, obviously no sets remain but you can see where they filmed. Heart of Glencoe is a nice gentle walk away from Glencoe, 20 minutes or so, also a lovely looking pub/ Inn with good reviews, the Callaigh Inn, is also a gentle walk away in the other direction.

 If you have a car, you have a great base to explore so many areas like Glen Etive to Loch Etive, Three Sisters, Devil's Staircase & Glen Nevis etc.

5) Bidean Eco cabin is a beautiful cabin, I've stayed in a lot of quirky accommodation & this is near the top. It exceeded my expectations. 
You have your own parking space, a veranda with seating area looking onto the mountains. Inside it is so cosy, it has everything you need for a relaxing stay, I brought my own utensils but didn't need them as there are cups, glasses, plates, pans a plenty all stored away, cutlery, utensils etc., washing up liquid, hand wash, tea towels, cloths all provided too.
Great bed with a quality mattress and lovely duvet covers, I slept so well. 
Powerful shower, huge, sure it could fit 4 people in at once😅towels and toiletries provided too.

Loved that they provided a dog bowl, two Boneo's and poo bags, very cute.

The forecast for my trip was meant to be rain, rain & rain but I had so many moments of sunshine, for the heavy rain I was able to sit in the cabin watching TV/ reading. No matter the weather, great place to stay.

Amazing dog friendly accommodation in a beautiful location with friendly owners.

Four of us spent 4 nights at Ridge View Bothy, using it as a base for hill walking. The little house was very comfortable and in a great location. Both Glencoe village and the Clachaig Inn within walking distance, and some of the hills e.g. Pap of Glencoe or the Aonach Eagach can be tackled directly from the door.  Warm shower, good wifi, and a great drying room. Would definitely recommend

Ridge View Bothy

We went for my 50th birthday I couldn't have wished for a better present we stayed in the gold plus caravan which was beautifully  presented and clean with views that took ur breath away our host were lovely and the children  loved it there always out in there bikes and what cam say about how much my wee dog loved it to  thankyou for having us and we won't be strangers highly recommend this place
