Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate

We stayed at Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate primarily for a business appointment near the Raha area. While there are plenty of hotels closer to our destination, we chose this one because of its calm and serene vibe—thinking it would be nice to bring the family along for a quick getaway. The hotel offers a few dining options, though the selection is limited. Thankfully, there are several restaurants nearby, and there’s even a gas station just around the corner that’s perfect for grabbing groceries or snacks on the go. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment, which was spacious and comfortable. However, operating some of the appliances was a bit tricky, especially if you're unfamiliar with the setup. In terms of amenities, the hotel has a lot to offer. The kids’ pool was surprisingly warm—borderline hot, actually—while the main pool stayed comfortably warm, making for a pleasant dip either in the early morning or the evening. There’s also a billiards table and table tennis in the same area, plus a gym and a small kids’ playroom. The only hiccup during our stay came towards the end when the fuse kept tripping, causing a temporary power outage—right in the middle of my shower, no less. Maintenance came quickly, though the root cause couldn’t be identified. Overall, it was a pleasant and worthwhile stay. The peaceful atmosphere makes it a great option for both business trips and quiet family getaways. Would definitely consider staying again!
