Best experience.  Very beautiful place.  Everything was great. Room, service,  food, surrounding  garden,  flowers,  nothing to complain about, anywhere.  Well appointed,  all areas. Had an excellent time. Must stay property. Very caring staff.

My mother and I had a wonderful night here. We loved the pension, the hospitality of the young lady  hostess was heart warming. The style of the house was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. This was a real gem and we hope to go again often. The location was ideal.

Sensational and charming.

Five stars for its quirky charm and comfort, though you’ll need to put up with a few idiosyncrasies...

Şirince is tucked up in the hills above Selçuk, a rarity in that the large village is unspoilt by any modern fringe so that its ancient charm is intact. The steep lanes are either cobbled or roughly paved, and you will certainly have to do the last 200-300 metres from the car parks on foot. Bring stout footwear and strong lungs. The village seems to attract mainly Turkish day trippers and very few foreigners even though it is a convenient stopping point for Ephesus. 

The hotel is a minute or so from the covered bazaar and, like most of the village’s hotels, is a converted stone house with, I think, six rooms. Little seems to have changed since a 2012 review - the rooms have been tastefully and cleverly decorated with a combination of boutique charm and rustic domesticity; though not enormous rooms, there is plenty of storage, power sockets, a decent shower, effective air conditioning. A previous reviewer mentions the oddity of a window between bedroom and bathroom without any blind, which may bother some, and some of the taps (faucets) seem slightly less that secure. 

It was slightly peculiar that the room was not made up during my two-night stay, and also that I found myself locked in the house when I tried to leave at 7.30 on the first morning, though this was resolved in a few minutes with a phone call.

The young owner, Ronay, speaks some English and is assisted by what I took to be an assortment of her teenage siblings. They are very welcoming and keen to oblige, and the fact that it can all seem a little haphazard is part of the charm. They did however produce perhaps the best breakfast of my life, a serendipitous parade of fresh local produce and a variety of hot dishes - a wonderful breakfast mezze.

Sirince village is 10km away from Ephesus .
It was a great experience to visit this village and staying at Efes konaklari very clean rooms excellent service staff were very polite to us. We had a good breakfast at the hotel everything were homemade.


Hidden heaven

While traveling through Turkey, I had the privilege to stay in the Efes Konaklari. We were extremely pleased with the rooms and the service. The service was absolutely wonderful, the owner and all of the people we met at this inn were extremely kind. There were many nights when we sat out on the portico and chatted with owner. Everyone was extremely welcoming and it was almost like staying with family. I would absolutely stay there again and would highly recommend the hotel/inn to anyone who wanted a taste of turkish village life.

Excellent Hotel, great service.

We had an amazing time in Sirince and part of it is due to the comfort and cuteness of this boutique hotel we stayed at, Efes Konaklari. We were greeted like family. The breakfast was included in our stay and it was magnificent. Our room was very decorative with a country french design, very chic and comfortable. The building is all stone and very quaint. People here are very sweet. Make sure to go and have a wine tasting of all the seasonal fruit wines.

A secret village hideaway...Sirince

Despite not having a common language the delightful hostess made my stay extra special.  Not only did I receive a warm welcome and a fabulous room upgrade, but I had breakfasts to die for, a parting gift and a ride to the airport.
My room was just divine with a super comfy bed and glorious pillows, a bathroom with a small turkish bath area, a huge window seat to watch the world from and the most eclectic decor you could imagine.

The village is touristy but still offers excellent local food and once the tourists have gone for the day turns into a sleepy and welcoming village, perfect for a chill out spot.

Perfection

This was an outstanding hotel from all the rest that we have stayed at in Turkey. It's an adventure in itself which will stay in our memories. The room itself was well appointed and warm. The hosts were friendly and gave us hot-chocolate before bedtime. A stay in Sirince is quite an experience with its quaint narrow streets and warm friendly people. A visit to Volcan's leather shop and the shop of the man who made the costume jewellery for the movie Troy are both a must.

Sirince memories

Visited Şirince with my family and amazed by it's beauty. Efes Konakları was super confortable and the owner and the staff was soo helpfull. Definitely recommend it. But the village is not very suitable for small children.

Romantic and magical

Comfortable rustic bed and breakfast in the heart of Sirince. Just make sure you know to contact staff at Zeus Cafe as the accommodation is not usually attended.
