Hotel Allegra

After doing the Blue cruise Olympos to Fethiye trip we decided to settle down in Kalkan for a bit of luxury and tranquility. Something of which this hotel accomplished for us by far. The hotel Its about a 15min walk down into the town centre so your a bit out of the way from everything...but not too much... something which we preferred as it turned out to be a pretty chilled safe side of town, that wasn't a hectic traffic full of tourists. Getting back up form town was a bit of a problem if your a bit lazy as the hill is pretty steep to clim up (which isn't so fun if its hot) however the taxi up is pretty cheap say something stupid like 10tl - 15tl if I remember rightly. The staff in the hotel were extremely friendly too and we requested a Frappuccino from the hotel (even though it wasn't on the menu) Christina herself made this for us especially... something that made us feel very welcomed. We were also given some helpful advice about what to do during our short stay.. such as the canoeing mud bath tour as well as other things on our checklist of adventures. We also experienced some fab fab fish restaurants on the islands (prawns in Kalkan not recommended) delicious kebab restaurants and wonderful ice cream for 2/3tl a scoop!! Bargain. Nevertheless, our experience of the hotel was great as a whole, excellent value for money, couldn't fault anything HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!.
