Begonvil Suites

Several years ago my wife and I stayed here. We drove in from istanbul in a rented car. What an adventure. We had the best time. The proprietor was wonderful. I am ashamed to tell you I have forgotten her name. three syllables, starts with an 'S' I think? The best possible service. Food was excellent. The place was beautiful. Her husband maintained the grounds continuously. Seemed every time he was seen he was working on the foliage. Best of all was her golden retriever Caramel. We played with that fabulous dog at the pool every possible minute, she enjoyed biting the water! That made it special. Notice I didn't forget Caramel's name. The Can restaurant was recommended here to us. We went there often, made a friendship with the owner and had the best meals. Absolutely loved Turkey. If you like adventure you cant have a better time. Good thing for that because our tour operator was a crook. That was a minor annoyance and had little effect because the trip was so special. You cannot beat Turkey and all the lovely people we met. I really want to come back and do it again. Bouganvilla Suites tops my list. and our canine friend Caramel. So sweet. The best possible memories. Watch out for the tour operators. They talk a great game but deliver little. And make sure you spend a week on a gullet.
