We spent 3 days in Harmani Tatil Ciftligi and every day was better than the previous day,
We enjoyed our stay with the great hospitality of the owners and the great location, the great breakfast and many many others, we highly recommend it. 


Beautiful building, great location, very very clean (room is spotless, linens smell great, bathroom is very clean), amazing breakfast, super relaxing environment and good air conditioning . The staff is polite and thoughtful, friendly family vibe but not intrusive. Walk to town (20-30 min) drive or ride a bike to the beach. Love this place!!

You would love this place... but that's none of my business.

This little private paradise is located just a little over a mile outside of town on a hillside. There are nice views of the island and the ocean. The moment we arrived, Deniz provided us with a map of the island and recommended wine tasting, bike rentals, and restaurants. Despite the language barrier, Deniz and his mother make every effort to ensure that you are comfortable and happy. They were helpful in arranging transportation, recommending good wine and restaurants, and cooking amazing egg dishes every morning in addition to the traditional Turkish breakfast they provide. I was able to wash my own laundry (because that was my preference) and have my clean clothes at my access when I needed them. There is also a drying rack provided for each room for your beach towels, etc. If you want privacy, they also allow you plenty of privacy while making themselves available to help you when needed. When I return to Bozcaada, I intend to stay here again. It felt like home staying with them and I could not have asked for more. (Google translate came into good use when we were not able to convey what we were trying to ask for as the island as a whole is predominantly Turkish speaking.)

Island home away from home

Words cannot describe how much we loved Bozcaada and Harmani - they almost go hand in hand - Bozcaada would not have been the same if we hadn't stayed here! We hired bikes in town and rode up to see how far it was (only like 2kms) and when we arrived, we were served tea and cake! They then unexpectedly organised our bags to be collected and throughout our whole holiday, couldn't do enough for us - although they very much respect your privacy. 

They became our adopted Turkish family and their dog, Roxy, was also so friendly. Breakfast is something special everyday (she is an excellent cook) and they grow organics veggies on the farm - yum yum! We bought fish and meatballs in town (Wednesday is market day) and had a BBQ twice at Harmani - again, such open people, we could use their kitchen and one night, had sundowners with their son, Deniz.

Harmani is also situated away from town (and we stayed in town and it can be noisy) so there is the quiet and the beautiful view - but you just down the road from town. I know this review is going on and on, but there is just nothing like Harmani so stop reading already and book before they are fully booked....

Wow wow wow!!

We stayed in Harmani Tatil Ciftligi as part of a 4-day self organized tour through the Northern Aegean Coastline of Turkey. 

Upon arrival the owners let us choose between different rooms for us to decide which ones would be the most suitable. The rooms are newly done about year ago or so, spacious, offer all modern day comfort, and some have a separate sitting area. They all have a terrace and are very tastefully decorated with a rural touch. The details are amazing. The location is in the breathtaking Bozcaada countryside, a few minutes from the ferry, with fields, and at the end an amazing view on the Eagean Sea. If there would be one thing, I would have liked to see coffee/tea making facilities in the room, but I am sure the owners would have made coffee for me straight away, should I have asked. I did not, that's my fault. 

We stayed on a Sunday night and we wanted to make reservation for Turkish fish dinner in the town, and the owners recommended a place and even made reservations. The restaurant was excellent, at the old marina, and the fish was delicious. Upon arrival back to the hotel, the owner's son was waiting for us with a glass of local wine - free of charge we found out the next morning! - and it was so good that I ended up buying 2 bottles. Camlibag is the brand. 

After a good night sleep the breakfast incredible and probably the best I had in Turkey up to now. Plenty of choices, local produce, breads, jams, cheeses etc. and the best were the small pastries filled with eggplant. 

All in all a great place to stay to explore the island and then take the ferry back to the mainland. Great and very hospitable hosts and high quality accommodation. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
