5 reviewsIf you’re looking for a clean simple room on a budget, this works well. I paid 500 baht/night in December. The owner is one of the nicest people I’ve met, just expect minimal English. Location wise, it’s 15-20min walk from many places tourists go, so not in the center of everything, but the upside is that it is very very quiet compared to most hostels. Also, I did NOT find any bugs, but the mosquito net over the bed is a nice option if you want one. Cash only. Summary: If you are on a budget and looking to avoid the 22 year old traveler, this is a very clean option, but don’t expect thrills like a lobby or free breakfast, etc. My room was small but had AC and private bathroom (shower worked well, but no curtain so got whole bathroom soaked, but the owner cleans entire room and bathroom while you are out).
