Not a big place, but the owners are very friendly, felt like home. The owner went out to buy dinner boxes for us and also brought out their own dishes to share after we got there late. His wife, Mrs. Su walked us to the night market and had good talk with us. If you are looking for a nice family home to stay, this is the right place!

Tourists visiting Hualien has none other thoughts but Taroko Gorge.  You can choose to stay near Xin Cheng Train Station (nearest to Taroko National Park, but isolated and no transport leaving station), Hualien Train Station (the main city with expensive home stay) or Ji'an Train Station (a station away from Hualien Station, with significant drop in the home stay charges).  
This particular home stay is a typical Taiwanese house turns home stay.  The owner Ms Su is a friendly and warm host that tries her best to treat each of her guests like her own family member. 
Do call and arrange for a pick up at the train station, because the home stay is about 1km away. 
Bear in mind that Hualien county has all the tourist spots scattered far away from each other.  It is better to contract a cab to move around.  Do ask around for the best price.  Cabs that run within town charge a low TWD100 fix rate for every trip.  Because this home stay is at the border of Hualien county, so they will treat it as within county.
