First look it's old and in a little dark alley. We wouldn't book this kind of hostel if not for the driver's recommendation.

Walk out right to the night market. Convenient.

The main entrance closes at 9 or 10pm and you will need to enter and exit through a so called side door. The lift is old. But serves its purpose. You definitely don't have to bring your luggage up the stairs.

There's a hot water flask used to store hot water. Not an electric kettle that we see usually. Water is taken from the corridor from a dispenser. They don't provide bottled water.

Basics like tooth brush and toothpaste are provided. Shampoo and shower gel are in sachets.

We left the hostel at about 8pm for dinner at the night market down the street and bumped into the whole family (who owned the hostel) having dinner right at the reception area. Quite cool.

In my whole 10day trip in Taiwan, thus is the only accommodation which provided a bathtub and a stool for me to bathe my little 10month old baby old school style. I love it! Feeling like home. 

No frills hostel. 

The hotel had friendly owners and was on a quiet street but still in the heard of Kenting where public transport was easily accessible.

Friendly and helpful staff. The room is spacious and clean. Complimentary breakfast is delivered to your room according to your requested time. The night market is just a few metres away from the entrance.

Good location

Very convenient location, just 2 minutes walk to the night market. The guest house owners are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided are sandwiches which are fine. You can choose beacon, cheese or ham individually. However, you might still find it boring to eat the same stuff every morning if you stay for a few days.The room we lived was okay as we booked a big room. But we noted some other rooms on the same floor were not as big as ours.Bathroom is fine. The heated water is hot enough for you to enjoy a good shower but sometimes you need to wait a short while for the hot bathing water to be ready.We didn't get sleepers in our room. We bought ours in the Main Street for TWD 50 each.Overall speaking, a nice and convenient resting place in KentinIf you go there by public bus, get off at the Kenting Police Station Stop. You can reach this hotel within 5 minute walk. It is situated at a small street next to the Seven Eleven Convenience Store

Convenient and nice small hotel

The owners were very friendly and helpful. They provided breakfast in our room each morning. The location was great - down a short alley to the night market and a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The room was adequate and comfortable.

We could not check-in the hotel because the reception counter told us that they did not receive our booking probably due to their communication problem. We were directed to live in a nearby hotel.

I am not happy the room and will not recommend to anyone at all.

Great hotel on the main strip in kenting, very clean and staff very friendly. Confortable and relaxing stay.

Good comfort to value ratio

The location was great, just a stones throw away from the bustling night market and main street with lots of shopping and restaurants. The staff was great, asked what we would like for breakfast and brought it to our room! The bed was one of the most comfortable we had in all our travels through Taiwan. Would highly recommend staying here. We had a great stay!
