Fortunately we were here after the main crowds had gone home, so we had a pleasant--and not overcrowded-meal. The curry was delicious, and other members of our party had the meat fondue. The chips were fantastic. It's not cheap--but nothing in Nendaz is--but it was good food at a comparable price.

Good local food

We had a family room in this hotel for 1 night. The hotel itself is behind the restaurant, down a slope, so if it's snowing and you need to park your car in their car park, you'll probably need snow chains (even with winter tyres). Being behind the restaurant, which is on the main road, meant that it was away from the road so nice and quiet. The family room had two single beds next to each other and a bunk bed which were reasonably comfortable. The top bunk did not have any barriers on it.

The furnishings were extremely outdated - beaten-up 1980s pine furniture which really needs updating, and a big old TV with a DVD player underneath perched precariously on a rickety chest of drawers. The hessian wallpaper was really retro!

Having said that - there was a nice balcony and the bathroom, although tiny, had been refurbished and was very modern and nice and warm. There were towels, toiletries and a hairdryer. A kettle, tea cups and wine glasses in the room, plus tea and coffee sachets (no milk).

The telecabin is only 5 minutes' walk (up a hill) and the ice rink, trampolines, etc are a few minutes' walk down the hill. It's in easy reach of all the amenities.

Breakfast was a bit boring - bread, cheese, meat, cereal, jam, yoghurt, which is about what you would expect and the breakfast lady was helpful and friendly.

Good location

The previous review nearly kept me away, but I'm very glad that was not the case. Even though there does not appear to be a reception as such, the staff are based in the restaurant which is up an icy slope and there is no telephone in the rooms, the rooms are warm (sometimes too warm) and clean, the bed is comfortable, and the duvets provided are clean and generous. A single room could easily sleep two people. The breakfast js very good. Despite the staff not being based in the hotel building, I found booking a room relatively easy, communicating via email. I would happily stay here again. The ski lift is a walk, but a bus nearby takes you to the door for free. 

Great for a skiing holiday, central, comfy and clean rooms.

Heating was turned off, horrible in December in the mountains and room needed urgent fixing on many many things. Curtain bar unfixed, beds not flat, bathroom with broken items.
