We booked this as a short stop at the end of a 3 week trip around Sweden, before returning to Arlanda. With a car full of luggage, and wanting to leave some of that in the car, I was looking for somewhere safe, as well as avoiding the exorbitant extra bed charges of downtown Stockholm, so having a family room was a big plus. When we arrived, it was clear we had found a gem, just off the well beaten track - the hotel is made up of a series of renovated old wooden houses, around the main building which houses the reception area, together with the dining room, and a comfortable sitting area, with a big open fire - great when its very cold outside. The beds and room were comfy, and it was nice to have some space still with 3 beds in the room. The bathroom is a bit cramped but the shower is spacious, powerful and hot! Family run, with genuine warmth and attentiveness!
