This villa is one of the best iv been to. Magnificent pool! Top class clean well maintained beach is lovely if a little generally dirty. Sea a bit rough in July.
Food was fabulous 9/10. Rooms excellent. Service top class. We had a great time lot of privacy as a family or a group of friends.very accommodating with our needs and fairly reasonable for full board. Massive spread for meals and good variety.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the pool or beach.
The staff are most helpful and attentive, excellent food cooked to your requirements

We booked 4 rooms at this villa on a full board basis and it was very secluded and private,we had the whole place to ourselves .The rooms were tidy and upto the standard and very comfortable,however we were promised a set menu of food and some of the items in the menu which were promised was not prepared for us during our stay at the villa , the quantity of most of the items on the menu for our lunch and breakfast was not satisfactory and we had to request the kitchen to prepare more,the management and staff was quite friendly and welcoming ,they made sure our stay was comfortable but the only issue we had was the food because it did not meet the standards for the price we paid.

Good place

Just had 2 lovely nights here. The staff are amazing and can not do enough for you . Our room was huge and immaculately clean.  We had breakfast which was fruit toast and eggs and bacon . We had evening dinner here too which was delicious . Very peaceful place to stay , right on the beach. We loved it 

Wonderful experience 

Lovely place, lovely host, lovely staff. Everything just perfect. Highly recommend, really helped us with our onward travel plans, arranged taxi from airport and fed us amazing food and drinks. Thank you all.

Excellent stay

A perfect way to end our family holiday. We loved everything about this property from the decor to the staff, location and hospitality. 
We definitely plan to return and will recommend this property to all our friends back in the US.

Fantastic experience

We spent 2 weeks in Maresia Beach Villa with my family, the staff were really kind and helpful. Even the owner of the villa helped us to arrange a trip to Kandy with a private van only for us. The whole building were tidy, even the garden and the pool were cleaned on a daily basis. We loved that place because it is calm and good for relaxing. We would like to return in the future.

Amazing 2 weeks with my family

One of the best villas that we've been to. Stayed 3 days with six of our families and kids on full board basis. We just fell in love with the set up - pool, garden, beach. Nice large clean rooms facing the sea, very friendly and professional service by staff, yummy food mini buffet style. Kids loved the place too. Simply perfect holiday. A truly 5 star experience. Hats off to owner Marina and manager Ranil for setting very high standards for a villa and paying personal attention to every detail of our stay. Will definitely go again.

Awesome villa

Nice big rooms with a view of the beach and excellent sunset. The staff had a good service and was very tentative to our request. It is a very nice place to stay for a couple of days of relaxation and swiming in the sea 

Relaxed vaccation 

We stayed in the Maresia Beach Villa, Wadduwa with our extended family for what was meant to be a peaceful family reunion and holiday. But what followed was the worst nightmare ever. On the second night, around 2am we were woken up to the horror of having to deal with an intruder make forceful entry into the room occupied by children on the first floor. The children woke up to the shock of having a stranger in their room- a gross violation of our security and privacy - something that we relied upon the establishment to guarantee.   Upon waking the staff, they seem to conclude within minutes that this was the handiwork of a local 'mad-man', and that he must have climbed up from the side wall and then onto the first floor balcony. This entire situation was completely appalling. The housekeeping staff was able to deduce within minutes as to how the person would have made the unlawful entry, however there was no guidance given to us to lock balcony doors and windows. There was no sticker on the door handles. When we asked for the CCTV footage, the response by the management was that a lightning strike took the cameras out a few days ago and they haven't been able to get an ‘Electrician’ due to Christmas lighting works - they were too busy setting festive lights to get the CCTV fixed!!  Later in the morning we discovered that this 'mad-man' intruder was actually someone the staff knew well and had in-fact got him to climb nearby coconut trees the previous day and had him pluck them for the house.   They not only put our lives in danger, but also had a casual attitude about critical safety and security of their guests. We were left with no choice but to walk out of the property two days before our planned check out date and had to seek alternate accommodation on our own during the busy holiday season. The management and owners were unrepentant, and offered little beyond a plain apology. Infact the owner (Marina) even said to me that it was our fault for not having locked the doors and windows.   Such 'buyer beware' attitude is completely unacceptable. My suggestion - don't go anywhere near this property or those by this management.
