Magic Seashell Villa

Straight out of the airport you are greeted by lovely hospitality from Ruwan. The journey to the villa doesn't take too long (just over an hour) and when you get out of the hustle and bustle of the city you are welcomed with the amazing scenic beauty Sri Lanka has to offer. Upon getting to Wadduwa you get a real sense that you are not in a standard touristy area and somewhere actually quite special with its own character. The villa itself is really big and stacked with all the necessary appliances. The villa is only a 2 minute to the beach where you can can lie back in your own world and drift off whilst staring out into the tantalising beauty of the sea, perfect for relaxation. If beaches aren't really your cup of tea then fear not as there are a number of resorts nearby with huge swimming pools at near perfect temperatures. Food is provided by Ruwan where you can opt for more traditional meals or just what you feel comfortable with however I do recommend you pop down to Janisrest approximately 200m down the beach for some of the best seafood I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing as well as his fantastic hospitality. Also I suggest you go down to Mirissa for some whale watching only if you are confident not to get sea sick. I was lucky enough to see blue whales and right whales and it is an unforgettable experience I will treasure for the rest of my life. All in all this was an amazing holiday, one which will stay in my mind forever.
