Moved to this guest on the recommendation of my friends. Excellent clean room. Everything what you need is there. We-fi in the room, air conditioning is clean, not noisy, hot water. There is a common kitchen. It  takes 5 minutes to get to the beach. The staff is sympathetic. Before that, I lived in a terrible guesthouse  a dirty and noisy air-conditioning. The guys ordered three tours for an adequate price. We drove to a new clean minibus with a pleasant driver. Everything was clearly organized.



A good guesthouse

We really enjoyed the hospitality and the room , comfy bed hot water and very clean. The breakfast was great although they don't /won't start it till 9am so if you have an early start as we did today (our last day there) then you can't eat before you go. Other than that they would have got a 10 . Great location

Great place to stay

We stayed at Nirmala's for two weeks in August 2016 and had a fantastic stay! Our rooms were clean, modern and spacious and we even had our own balcony bit with plenty of comfy chairs which was a great place to relax on an evening! The four poster beds were comfy and covered in a mosquito net. The family were all very friendly and welcoming and were more than happy to help when we needed some laundry doing. We felt very much at home during our stay and would definitely it recommend to other travellers.

Great guesthouse!

Good first impressions, but as soon as we checked in I felt a bit unwelcome. The owner kept pushing us to tell how many nights exactly we want to stay - that seemed to be the only thing he was interested in, apart from our payment - which I understand for the sake of business and booking systems of course, but this was the first place ever on my numerous backpacking trips that I have to know this so well in advance. Normally backpackers, which this place is also targeted at obviously, don't make such solid plans. The owner also seemed to be out and about the property with nobody at the desk or entrance, which was a bit of a nuisance if you needed something. The room itself was beautiful and the verandah a great place to hang out. There's even a kitchen next to the room that you can use freely. For the price we paid (4500Rs) I consider this a luxury. However, mind you, there were a lot of negative points - maybe we were just unlucky, but I have definitely stayed at better places. The mattress and pillows smelled of damp mould, the a/c didn't work properly because there's a gap between the walls and the roof where hot air flows in, and didn't turn off properly either. The toilet didn't flush very well - a minor thing, but added up in the total of negative points the place started to feel a bit overpriced. The lowest point was when I locked the door the first morning and as I pulled the key off the lock, the entire lock came off and the door didn't open anymore. They had to break our door with tools for us to get in again. We were happy that this happened in the morning and not at night! At this point I was ready to pack my bags and look for something better for the same price.

All in all, this place has potential, but needs to a) change the mattresses and pillows, b) change the locks for better quality, c) reconsider their pricing. You can get better for the same or slightly higher price.

I wouldn't stay again.

Has potential but needs improvement

The Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff ist verry friendly and helps you with everything (scooters, drivers, laundry, ...)! The rooms at the backside of the guesthose are better. The beach is 5min away.
