My husband and I spent 4 nights at Poya Villa on Kabalana Beach and LOVED our stay. If you are surfers there is no other place you would rather be! Kabalana is the best surf break in the southern part of Sri Lanka! The beach is beautiful and the sunset gorgeous. Our butler "Moody" took care of our every need. When we wanted cold beer or hot coffee he was there! We were lucky enough to rent a room when the owners were staying there. It was wonderful to have them there whenever we had questions about which activities to do or restaurants to try. And they are experts on the nearby surf breaks as well. If you are considering staying in Poya Villa I cannot recommend it enough! It was a wonderful experience! Oh, and the food is the best we had on our whole trip to Sri Lanka!
