A lovely boutique hotel well situated to explore historical Galle. We stayed in History a huge well equipped room, perfect for our stay. You get a real sense of the history of the building once you leave the reception/ dining area downstairs. We didn’t find it difficult to imagine the building as a school and print works. The hotel is ideally situated with everything in walking distance including plenty of restaurants. If you don want to walk, food in the hotel is excellent, bizarrely I really liked the carrot curry! A nice pre dinner cocktail sitting in the small terrace at the front of the hotel, watching the world go by will live long in the memory. All the staff were amazing, but special thanks to Sachin who booked us in and continually checked everything was to our satisfaction throughout our stay.
