Peace and green

Perfect place for a solo Traveller. The garden, food, staff, surf all was amazing and I’ll be back.
Also sharing a room since no single ones were available was not an issue.
Just take earplugs for the barking dogs and cock next door :-)

Amazing!

The room is basic, but cute clean and comfortable. Though the place is super nice, food is delicious and healthy and the staff is super friendly. Surf teachers are great and the massages are amazing! I love this place, I would definitely will repeat soon.
It is great to go solo, with friends or with family. Yoga classes are great as well!

Best place in cadiz for surf, yoga and a cozy stay!

By leaving this place, we already started to miss it! It was such a great experience for us staying at NEXO, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left; Ainhoa, Manu and the whole NEXO crew, were always their with a big smile and a helping hand. 

The service is extremely personal, as they always mention your name, when talking to you - it gives a feeling like you have always known them! The surf- and yogaclasses were really nice, and their was always space for a good laugh, when being in the water. The food, that is homemade and fresh every day, is SO yummy, that we wish, we could make it so delicious at home every day :-) (sadly we can´t haha).

Our room was also great, clean and had everything we needed. Thank you for the great and warm stay we had with you - it felt like home.

We´re definitely coming back!

Felt like coming home!

I have just returned to London following a 2 night stay at Nexo Surfhouse.  I stayed solo for one night & was joined by a friend for the 2nd night.
All the staff from reception & the restaurant were very friendly and Richard the surf instructor was a great teacher and an all round good guy.
The garden is very nice for relaxing between surfing.
My room was fairly basic but tastefully & appropriately decorated and very clean - all you need for a beach holiday & surffing break.
The honesty bar is well stocked & very cheap.
The highlight for me was the surfing & early morning yoga - all of which is included in the very reasonable nightly rate.
Breakfast & lunch is also included in the package price and the food is good - there is something for all tastes.
I would certainly go back - perhaps in the early Autumn when the waves are bigger.

Friendly, relaxing & great surf school

Fantastic place! Great location, lovely food and easy going people. They offer a lot of activities. It’s a very chilled environment. I would recommend this place to everyone. El palmar Is really a paradise 😍🙏

Amazing place

Have you ever been to a place where you instantly feel welcome & home?! The whole Nexo family made me feel this way! Just an awesome place to stay with people who truly care about you! I didn’t want to leave this warm & caring place. Absolutely worth visiting so do not hesitate and book your stay! Thnx to all you guys at the house, for making my stay so wonderful xxx

Home away from home

I have just come back from a 2 night stay at Nexo surfhouse and feel I have to post a review. We had been keeping an eye on the the surf forecast from the UK and made a late decision to head to El Palmar as the waves looked pretty good. I spoke to Ainhoa and our booking was made, lessons arranged and surfboard hire confirmed all very easily. On arrival it was clear that Manu and Ainhoa have created a special place with a friendly vibe. Nothing was too much trouble and they always made time to answer any questions or have a chat. Ismael took us surfing, his lessons were a good mix fun and useful tips.
The room was perfect, comfy bed , hot shower and private terrace. I cant wait to come back.

Friendly atmosphere and great accommodation.

I arrived at NEXO on the low season. The room and the whole place were amazing, much better than I expected according to the price (even taking into account low season prices are generally low). There was no surfcamp available, but they told me I can join group lessons. It turns out that most of my time these were private lessons, but there was no extra charge and it was great.
Mani and Ainoa who run the place are absolutely amazing. They made sure everything was ideal and offered advice and help with any need or inconvenience, much more than usually expected. They gave me lifts more than once as I came without a car and generally made my time at NEXO a great experience.
Ishmael the surf guide was also awesome in every respect but you'll have to find out how much for yourself... It was my third surf vacation and by far the one I improved at the most. El Palmar is a great destination with many different types of beaches, and Ishmael made sure we went to the beach most fitting today's plans (I know all surfcamps try to do that, but this really was the most ideal implementation of this tactic I have seen yet).
I would definitely like to return the NEXO and warmly recommend the place to anyone considering a surf vacation in the area.

Excellent surf vacation in NEXO

We stayed for two weeks in the Nexo Surfhouse. The food was amazing, their chefs, Julio and Jens, are amazing cooks. The surfteachers (we had Alfredo) under Ismael's supervision were great and the classes were well organized for the different levels. Next to that, we felt superwelcomed by Manu and Ainhoa, who are incredibly kind and hospitable to all visitors. Even when I got an earinfection, Ainhoa offered to drive us to the doctor's and help with translation and getting medicine. In short; we had an amazing stay, and definetely recommend this place to any surfer and or yogi who want to have a relaxed stay with loads of good vibes!
