We had a very happy stay at salobre.
We stay in vista golf 18 and it was perfect. We have a 4 year old daughter with autism, and it was for her perfect it is so quiet and the garden and pool are very nice.

Next year we certainly come back :)

A gem of a place, so don’t tell everybody.
This place is not in the tourist area and you would need to hire a car if you’re renting here.
You will not be disappointed especially now the old course it back in use.

On arrival the resort looked lovely, but when we arrived at the villa it was only moderately clean and when we walked into the kitchen we were faced with ants on the kitchen worktops and even in the cutlery drawer. Then we saw 2 cockroaches on the first two nights which then stopped after I did a thorough clean of the kitchen (which should have been done by their cleaners). The AC in our daughter’s room was broken on arrival and when we called to report it (as we arrived in the middle of a heat wave) we were told they would try and get it looked at but that it wouldn’t be right away as it was the weekend. They left a fan at the villa in the meantime then 3 days later we were told they could not fix the issue and a part had to be ordered!? So they knew all along there was an issue as how can you guess a part is needed without inspecting the AC!? We then had to contact them for an iron and ironing board which was stipulated as being present at the villa, it wasn’t. So after a couple of days the iron was dropped off but no ironing board. Beds are uncomfortable and pillows are not a standard pillow size and small only one and not comfortable at all. The only good point was the location as it was quiet and pretty in parts, and we were able to eat at the sidecar restaurant at the hotel which is on the resort.
There is also construction going on at present on the site. I would not recommend staying here. However, the Salobre hotel resort looks lovely and that’s where we should have stayed! CanariasGetaway don’t bother replying to me as it’s too little too late. My partner has taken our complaint up with airbnb and showing them the communication we’ve had with you during our stay.

I would not stay here again!

Green9 villa is well equipped and the living/kitchen area is as the surrounding pool/sun bed area very spacious. The SMART-Tv works with ANDROID and is connected to an router so only the Spanish local transmissions are available. Also an older model Nintendo is connected, however the power supply was not available. 
Furthermore I would not recommend this rental object to families with younger children or persons with an impaired mobility since it takes 36 steps on a concrete staircase to reach the villa‘s entrance gate. (See picture)
We were a group of 6 adults, since this object is advertised to accommodate 6 persons,  with 3 suitcases and hand luggage, so we used two rentals for transportation since the Green 9 villa is located at the very top left hand end of the valley at Salobre park/resort mountain . The Green village area is “protected “ by a barrier and we were given besides one set of keys ( front-door and entrance gate) also one tag to open the barrier which is also required to get out of the area and could be dangerous in case of an emergency and one does not have the tag with him/her  
The request to have another set of keys/tag was not honoured since the Green 9 villa has only 1 parking spot allocated to it, meaning that the second car had to be parked outside the barrier and it takes another steep walk of about 125 meters to reach the bottom of the Green 9 staircase.
All in all a missed change since non of this is explained in the advertisement for this rental object.

Salobre Green 9 villa experience - October 2022

I’ve stayed at Salobre Golf Villas most years and find the location just bliss, most of the villas are kept to a very high standard. The staff in the office are more welcome to look after your every need. This is a beautiful place away from all the tourists.

Problems with services

the dishwasher is broken and has not been replaced nor has there been a refund
The chief of villagrancanaria said that the problem was not their problem.
So the villa is good but pray to don’t have any problems 

By the way the structure should need a little bit of remake and we also found a beetle in the shower

Really bad

Great place to be for a family, mostly very clam and resting and with an outstanding view on the golf. We are returning clients since 5 years with almost two stays per year. Accommodations are great (although the bedding quality varies from house to house and sometime basic electrical kitchen equipment are missing, although easily to be found at local stores. For TV series lovers, better check which house is fitted with a Netflix capable TV set). The houses are very clean and the mid-stay cleaning team very discreet.  The Dream Destination Travel staff is very kind, always available and do really cares about your needs or concerns. They are flexible about you arrival/departure time when the house renting planing allows it. Pricing worth the location and the services. No doubt. about it.

Really well managed and maintained villa with lovely peaceful setting and facilities. Excellent management of the booking and assistance on site. Perfectly located 10 mins drive from Melonares/Maspalomas.

Great, peaceful villa

This was our second stay at the Golf Villa's and we had again a fantastic time there. The service from the managment company was great and the villa we stayed in was nicely decorated and very well equipped with all things necessary for a pleasant stay. Only a 15 minute drive to Maspalomas where all the action is. At the entrance of complex is a small Spar supermarket perfect for all basic needs.

Very pleasant stay

This is my second time here, this time with friends so rented a larger house. Facilities are excellent (good bbq, kitchen appliances with all you need). This house had more outdoor space than in, with a small pool. Different parts of the outside got the sun at different times of day. Its peaceful, very private (all the houses are designed to be private), and only 10 min taxi from the resorts and beaches.  This time we were next door to the Serenity Hotel which was handy to visit the sunset deck. Honestly, I couldn't have wanted more. You are not in the thick of it, as it were, but its the right location for peace and quiet and bbqing in the eve, but with easy access to the tourist beaches and bars by taxi.
