Hostal Raices

We had the superb top floor ‘penthouse’ apartment which was so incredibly full of character. The apartment was so comfortable and well equipped that we felt that we could have stayed comfortably for months. The kitchen in particular was great and, though we only used it to make a salad and make coffee, it was fully equipped to make a feast, or so it seemed. The bedroom oozed character and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom again had lots of character and the bathrobes were an interesting touch, though we did not use them. The absence of a bath towel may have been an oversight. It was good value. Get up in the morning early and walk through the upper town before the tourists arrive. It is a little difficult to find. There is a small sign on the wall outside. The entrance is up some stairs on the side of building which houses a restaurant and the stairs are next to an old church.
