85 reviewsWe’re just back from a wonderful week at Finca El Sueno, and it was one of the best holidays we’ve had in recent years. We stayed in Alcornoque, and it was absolutely perfect for us and our two girls, aged 7 and 2. They could roam safely around the gardens, they adored making friends with the resident kittens (there were tears on saying goodbye to little Romero) and we all spent loads of time in the beautiful pool. The house itself was clean, extremely well-equipped, and we appreciated being able to have a bed rail provided for our little one. Communication before and during our stay was excellent, and the traditional guest book has been replaced by a guest area on the website, which was really helpful. It was so lovely we ended up being quite lazy and spending a lot of time at the finca, but we really enjoyed trips to the beach and Barbate, and meals out in Vejer, which we fell in love with. You absolutely need a car, so be prepared for that, but driving is easy (we flew in and out of Seville). We were there in mid-October and had glorious warm sunshine every day. If you’re looking for a chilled out family break, it’s got everything you need. We’re already thinking about when we can get back.
