Siloso Beach Resort, Sentosa

We recently stayed at Siloso Beach Resort during our family trip to Singapore and it’s honestly one of the most unique and heartwarming stays we’ve had as a traveling family! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with big, genuine smiles and a sense of welcome that instantly made us feel at home. The hospitality here is something special—warm, sincere, and clearly done from the heart. One of the biggest highlights was their eco-tour, which is something every family should try. Our guide, Karl, was incredible so passionate and knowledgeable. He walked us through the entire property, sharing how the resort was built around nature, not on top of it. At one point, we saw a tree literally growing through one of the villas! That moment had our kids wide-eyed and completely amazed (and honestly, so were we!). There were so many thoughtful and interactive touches throughout—like a canal with real fish swimming through it and even a stop at their earthworm farm, where the kids got to touch and learn about how composting works. It was hands-on, educational, and far from your typical hotel experience. As a mom, I especially loved how everything here reflected real environmental care from refillable water stations to the clever use of natural airflow in the buildings. And let’s talk about the pool, not your usual rectangle of blue! It’s a long, winding natural spring pool, surrounded by lush greenery and a waterfall. It felt like swimming in a forest river rather than a hotel pool, and we easily spent hours there each day. It’s apparently the longest spring pool in Singapore—and now, one of our favourites anywhere! Location-wise, it was a dream. With the Sentosa Beach Shuttle stop right outside, we could easily move around the island or head over to VivoCity via the Sentosa Express. Traveling with 2 young kids means convenience is everything—and this setup made our trip so much more relaxing. But more than the eco-tours or the incredible pool, what really made Siloso Beach Resort stand out was the feeling of the place. Peaceful, serene, and surrounded by nature. We saw squirrels and even peacocks just casually roaming around! Our kids couldn’t stop giggling and pointing every time one popped up near the villas. This place gave us more than just a comfortable stay—it gave us real connection, to nature and to each other. If you’re a family looking for something meaningful, calm, and genuinely different from the usual hotel experience, Siloso Beach Resort is the one. It gave our kids memories they’re still talking about, and gave us a chance to slow down and breathe. We will definitely be coming back to stay here on future trips to Singapore.
