I work in Seychelles and love to go to this place when I need to be on Mahé for a few days. Currently (mid 2016) they are closed for renovation, until the beginning of 2017. I heard they get a pool. However before the renovation it was already a really nice place, nice owner, beautiful view, delicious breakfast, conveniently close to town, bus stop around the corner, and the room has a bath :-) The room is always very clean with well-working fridge, aircon and TV. All rooms have a outside terrace with beauti view at sea and harbour. There is always something to see! I hope that it will be as cozy as before once they finish the renovations, but knowing the owner they'll do a great job. I'll definitely be back!

I stayed here for my first three nights when I arrived for my holiday to the Seychelles before staying with friends for the rest of my time. 

I arrived around 9am in the morning after my flight from Dubai. My room was ready and waiting for me after an extremely friendly welcome from the owner Jane and her staff. The room was very comfortable with air conditioning and a wonderful view out over the bay.

Breakfast was excellent every morning and I also ate there a couple of evenings at a very reasonable price. You are close to Victoria with frequent buses into the main bus terminal if you are able to walk the 10 minutes down the hill to Mont Fleuri Road. As already mentioned, WiFi access is by purchase of a scratchcard at a cost of SCR 200 per day (approx £10).

I have stayed at La Louise lodge for a few nights and found the place very hospitable. The manager / owner is very kind and helpful. Food is excellent, both breakfast and dinner. You need to get transport to get there as it is up on the hill via a steep road. You have to buy a scratch card to get Wifi access and this is quite expensive.

I stayed at this nice lodge for only 6 days, but it was impressed me much, the hospitality, the helpful advise from the lodge manager, the view, the service. I remember when I arrived in Seychelles for the first time almost midnight the travel agent at the airport advised me to stay at La Louise Lodge, and when I arrived at La Louise Lodge past midnight, the manager welcomed me with pleasure. 

Located not far from town, Victoria, and only few minutes by bus from the town, also just a few kilometer away from the airport, the lodge is on the hill where has a very nice view to look at the sunrise every morning and in not too crowded area.

It was a nice room, good breakfast service indeed, tropical home atmosphere and warm people around.

It is a recommended place to stay for every holiday occasion

Well to start off I did not know what to expect when I get but my concept changed as soon as I was there 
The staffs are very friendly and nice; it is so peaceful there with a beautiful view of the harbor area and surrounding islands.
In the morning breakfast is toast, eggs, mixed fruits and tea or coffee. I highly recommend there for those with a low budget. It is a truly wonderful place to be. I thank all of them for making me and my fiancé stay a superb one.  Date: 12 April 2012
