We booked a double room for 1 night and it was ok. Big and clean room. Clean towels. The only thing i didn' t like was  one of laidys working there, i didn't catch her name. She didn't quite understand the notion of privacy and she was a bit strange.

Nice stay

Check-in was timely and professional. Olivera at the front desk was helpful and sympathetic. There was a small, sunny common area with a table and couch next to one of the rooms. It was a clean hostel.

I booked a 4-bed room and got a 6. I was told the hostel has "a right" to do this. A right? What in the world does that mean? If someone books a 4-bed and NOT a 6-bed room, would that *not be for a reason? There were two dorm rooms, each with 6-beds; the hostel doesn't even have a four-bed room, although they advertise they do. BE AWARE. They couldn't issue me a simple receipt for paying. You hand someone money for a four-night stay, yeah, you want proof you paid. This is not rocket science, people.

The hostel as a small kitchen and is located in the main pedestrian part of town.

If you book a 4-bed dorm you'll probably end up with 6 beds in the room. Consider yourself warned

The hostel so clean but very small rooms, kitchen and social area. Reasonable price for only sleep in hostel that close to Knez Mikhailova walking street and other main attractions. You can leave your bag after chec out but you are not guest anymore and you can t stay for a while in small reception area even you don t occupied in stead of other guests.

Only perfect location.

Awful place. Rude, unprofessional and unfriendly staff, from check in to check out they give you the feeling that you are not welcome. Staff discusses customers from Turkey and other places in very racist terms in Serbian.

 They don't even have real beds but rather fold-out chairs and mattresses. Located above a seedy night club (brothel); urine stench lingering around the reception area and bathrooms. Despite being not much of a social place, it's not exactly quiet but it makes that up with darkness and a lack of adequate lights. 

It may be cheap but don't bother staying there, one of the worst hostels I ever stayed at. the owners and their staff may have figured that out as well as they were talking about selling the place. There are many, many excellent hostels in Belgrad, find a better option.

Rude and unhelpful owners, bad smells but (mostly) no real beds

Usually when you go to a hostel, you mostly go for the nice staff that works there and will help you with any question you have. Or at least that's how it works for my boyfriend and I. This hostel was terrible.

We arrived in the morning. It was early cause we had a day trip planned to Novi Sad. We understood that we couldn't get into the room yet, so we put our stuff behind the reception. The guy who worked at the time mumbled something which no one could understand, was on his phone constantly and did not pay attention to us. We left with a weird feeling.

When we came back that afternoon we were tired and wanted to get into the room. Used from other hostels we always can pay later. This guy was not like that. Because I twisted my ankle a couple of days before that I was in a lot of pain and when my boyfriend told him that so I could get some rest first he just didn't care.

We went get our money in the end and slept there for two days, but if you want to have restful nights you should skip this one.
All though it's in the heart of the centre, it's noisy with a strip club underneath it which is the worst in the weekends and inside the hostel you can hear everything too.

Our bed in the private room had a horrible bed. It was clean, but annoying that there were only toilets in the bathrooms with people who shower all around the same time.

Never again for us.

Not so friendly people

The staff of this hostel is one of the worst I have ever met.

My girlfriend and I arrived at 9.30 in the morning, and the guy was pissed off that we woke him up. Then, he was extremely rude to two girls:
Girls: "Do you know where the trainstation is?"
Guy - without looking up from his phone: "Not understand you"
(They repeat the question)
Guy - still looking at his phone: "I don't know"

Seriously? At first we thought he maybe just had a bad day, or perhaps sick. But this type of behaviour just kept happening every time. Hey, if you don't like people: don't work in a hostel!

The walls are thin: if you want to sleep in early: good luck! There is a strip club downstairs which has a very loud bass during the night. Ah well, who needs sleep anyway? Oh wait: receptionist guy does, because it seems like he sleeps all day. While working in the reception, mind you.

Oh, and don't take the double bed: it has huge gaping holes in the base frame!

Be warned: this is terrible!

I did actually just stay here for 1,5 hours. I am an austrian girl who works since months in Novi Sad and wanted to make a trip to Belgrade. I had a reservation at the hostel for over a week. I made the naive mistake to leave my passport in Belgrade and just travelled with my driving licence (stupid, i know). At the hostel they first accepted it but then told me quite rude after 1,5 hours and me taking a shower and wanting to go to bed that i can't stay here and had to leave the hostel. it was because of my ID, there were plenty of empty beds in the hostel. It was 23.30 and heavy rain and i was in a strange big city, so i started to panick and cry. Thanks to another guest who went to another hostel with me (that accepted me without hesitation) it turned out well. I would not go there again.

Have no hestitation to kick foreign young girls out on the street alone at rain at 23.30pm

I arrived at 3pm and was told by the receptionist that I needed to go to their other hostel 5 mins down the road. Rather shocked I asked a few questions but was just told ‘sorry you need to go there’. Arrived at second hostel - was locked and had to wait 30 minutes for someone to arrive. Turns out they did not know I was coming and were not connected with Mosaic rooms. 

The worst bit was Mosaic rooms had emailed me the day before confirming my arrival. 

Completely shocked and annoyed and the whole process took 3 hours before I could put my bags down.

Untrustworthy; Booked a room and told to go elsewhere on arrival

First my reservation was supposed to be in 4 beds room, and I ended up in 7 beds room, my bed was even next to the door, so everyone was waking me while going in and out the room, they don't take card and they charge you extra for some taxes. The location is good, the staff not so good, check out is at 10 so you don't have time to sleep properly. They don't let you sit there even for 5 minutes after check out time. They have kitchen but you are not allowed to cook. I recommend this place at all
