Hôtel Coeur Sénégal

I stayed here with my son for 3 days in October 2014 as the final stop of my 2 weeks in Senegal visiting my son, who is a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer. It was a perfect way to relax and recover from days of arduous travel and 5 days in the "Bush" up in the northeast. This is THE best stretch of beach anywhere in Senegal, with perfect, fine, white sand kept clean, and, it's virtually empty all the time. The hotel was empty during most of our stay, but the pool was clean, the service was prompt, and the staff very friendly. We paid for the B&B option, and our breakfasts every morning were superb! Fresh-squeezed orange juice, fruits and cheeses, omelets or eggs any way we wished, fresh breads, it was great. We ate some other meals there as well--very good steaks--but ate more lunches and dinners in town, which is about 12 steps away! The rooms are fine, the wifi reliable, but it's all about the beach and the view here--the sunsets are spectacular.
