I am called Richard, i travelled to kigali last year and stayed at the infinity hotel, oh My i liked the good cooperation of the workers to there customers. And the rooms where so elegant. The price of the hotel is Affordable. Security is there

I have been staying at Infinity Hotel Kigali for the last 7 days.  I am delighted by the great service by all management and staff, and the business friendly facilities.  Infinity Hotel is located near Kigali's business center and international airport.  Great for a business traveler.

Best And Affordable

Great service, good food and affordable

This hotel has now been renamed to The Gulf Hotel. The staff and manager, John, are all very friendly and adept at dealing with their guests making you feel welcome and attending to your needs. The dinner menu is varied and all the food I ate was great, Fish meuniere, brochettes, mushroom soup, all good. Internet works ok'ish on the ground floor, certainly not on the 2nd floor. Speeds varied from 5Mbps on the first day down to 250Kbps on the following days. The rooms and bedding are old and could do with an upgrade, the TV had 2 channels, SuperSport football or some random DSTV channel. There was no remote for the aircon so i couldn't use it. Twice when I wanted to shower there was no water supply, it came and went randomly. Breakfast was coffee, fruit, bread and an omelette, nothing to rave about but ok to get you going for the day.

If you're checking out early in the morning give yourself at least half an hour for them to get the bill together.

It's close to the airport and the bar is open late, so I reckon it's an ok airport hotel for travellers whose body clocks are in another time zone.

Friendly staff, good food, internet needs work

My flight was 3 1/2 hours late, so I was not at the hotel until 03:30, and when I came there it was completely quiet and dark...Nobody, not even security guards! Me and my taxi driver, awesome man, was banging on the door for 10min, no reaction. My taxi driver then decided to walk around the hotel to see if he could find anybody, and he came back with two security guards, who had both been in the back sleeping! GREAT security guards!! ;)

But..From then on, the staff was great! Very helpful and friendly, even thou the receptionist had to be called, woken up, he came down smiling and being great! The first room I got, I could not literally walk in, and directly lay down on the bed. It was so small that I had nowhere to place my two big bags that I traveled with. 
But no problem, the receptionist, who followed me up with the two security guards carrying my bags, directly offered to change the room to a bigger one. 

The new room I got was a lot bigger, and by this point I was dead tired and just wanted to get into bed. 

The rooms in themselves are nothing special, a bit outdated, but for just one night  and as I was traveling onwards just 7 hours later, I was fine. 

Would I stay there again? For one night, and then travel onwards, sure no problems. But for more then one night, I would look for another hotel. 

I did not eat the included breakfast in the morning as my driver turned up an hour earlier then planed. 

The staff that I met where very good, all smiles and very helpful!

Great Staff...But thats about it..

I needed a place to stay that would get me to and from the Kigali airport easily and Infinity Hotel worked perfectly. It's a no-frills hotel with good service and clean rooms and facilities. John, the hotel owner is a great host. He and the hotel staff were very helpful when it came to contacting airport authorities about my lost luggage. The location of the hotel isn't great - no amenities you can really walk to and it's located on a busy street, so if you are a light sleeper, don't expect to sleep much. Breakfast is pretty standard. Mostly fruit and some toast. One thing I will definitely recommend is the food from the hotel restaurant and bar. I ordered a few meals there and they were amazing. Very affordable, authentic and delicious - great chef.
