I ve never seen anything like this before.
It s a filthy, smelly ghetto.
Run away quickly!
The staff was incredibly rude and inpolite!
Shame on you Romania, third world country!
Maybe the cruel ruler Vlad Tepes is the only one whi can fix the problems in this country!

Stay away!

The true is we want just to do a review to the Restaurant of this Hotel but we did not find the tripadvisor just for restaurant.
We have a supper, the service was so poor OMG.
The food again so poor, as I read in another review of this hotel was a depressed environment and we just want to eat and leave.

This is our unpleasant restaurant experience in Mamaia

The hotel is clean, the service is excellent, yet it is still a three star hotel. The breakfast is quite poor, though included in the price. There is an offering of 4 set breakfasts, such as cereal, sausages, eggs, and cheese. However, there is only one type of cereal (chocolate flakes) and one type of cheese (the Romanian salty cheese). The sausages are also just hot dogs. So overall, if you want a healthy breakfast, you need to buy food from outside. There is a nice selection of food for lunch and dinner, however, so the restaurant is not totally poor. The area is quite depressed, though there are some stores nearby. There is also a mall about half an hour’s walk away with a supermarket. Also, a thing to keep in mind is that it is a two story hotel with no elevator, so the accessibility is poor. Overall, I wouldn’t come to Mamaia again, because other resorts, such as those in Greece and Croatia are better and not as depressed, but it is not because of the hotel. If you’re looking for a clean hotel while staying within budget, this one is a nice choice.

A nice stay

We originally booked a hotel on the internet which turned out to be a hovel. However we got our deposit back and went to view other hotels. We found Hotel Agapi which was lovely, clean, comfortable beds, sea views from our balcony. It was beautiful. Staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful. There was a tv in our room with a couple of English channels. But it was the closeness to the beach and the view that made it special.

Clean, modern hotel with sea views

The hotel is very close to the beach.
The rooms are spacious, clean, bright and with a balcony.
The staff is very nice and friendly.
Definitely I will return on holiday.
Certainly I recommend this hotel.

Nice and pleasant

We stayed at this property in late May 2016 and we had a blast.    We were looking for a quiet and relaxing time and we sure got that.   While the hotel is located right on the main  street in Mamaia and, it can be busy and noisy especially in the season, if you get a room facing the sea you should be able to get some peace and quiet.  

The hotel is pretty small, so don't expect spa and gym.   Honestly they are not required, as the only reason you would choose this property is to enjoy the beach and the sea that is right beside the hotel.   This is one of the very few properties that is right on the beach.

The room was modern, very clean and everything worked perfectly.    The hotel is pretty new, but you can tell the owners pay a lot of attention in keeping it top shape. 

Very worthwhile was the restaurant located on the ground floor.   Excellent food and service at every visit.  They were very accommodating, even for special orders that were not on the menu.

I would strongly recommend hotel Agapi and we will return if in the area.
