Tresor le Palais

Hotel reviews We stayed at Tresor le Palais Hotel in Timișoara for 1 week in June 2024 and I have to say that it was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. It was extremely clean and very luxurious. The location was very good, close to one of the main roads leading to Timișoara but away from traffic. The hotel it's self was quiet except for the Saturday night we were there. There were two events that night and the music was extremely loud. We didn't completely hear it but the base from the music was somewhat annoying and it lasted till about 4am. The rest of the nights were definitely better. I know that it's not completely in the hotel's control, but if you stay during the summer, expect loud music on Saturday night and possibly on Sunday too. The breakfast was delicious and so much. The staff was wonderful. The best I have ever met. They were kind and friendly and truly went out of their way to make your stay feel pampered. The cappacinnos and lattes were the best!! We booked the Prestige Suite and it was huge and beautiful!! The bathroom was a bit on the smaller size with the toilet angled a bit strange but other then that it was great. The shower was great along with the towels/shampoo/soap/lotion. The coffee/Expresso maker was great, as was the daily water bottles. The balcony was very nice overlooking the pool. A mini fridge and microwave would have made the room perfect. The property was very nice. The pool was pretty deep with no shallow end. As in all of Romania, smoking is a bit of a nuisance in public places. There was no smoking in the hotel but plenty at the pool and outside around the tables/chairs. Again not the hotel's fault because that's the culture there but something to be aware of, if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke. Plenty of parking, even with events going on, the hotel will save you a parking space. My son loved all the expensive cars in the parking lot!! I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to experience a few nights of luxury at a pretty good price (compared to prices in the U.S.A) If we are ever in Timișoara again, we will definitely be staying there.
