good food.  VERY nice room with balcony.  great playground.  indoor and outdoor tables.  very comfortable bed.  restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast spread.  There were some barking dogs but this seems pretty omnipresent in romania

Great food and great room

We have stayed several times in this place at different villas.  In each villa you will find on the ground floor a room with a table of 12 people where you can sit for a glass of wine, game, stories.  The rooms are spacious (ground floor) where we stayed.  Good food, large portions, prices based on portions.  At the pool, those who are staying have a discount, it is clean and you have access to the spa at the same price as the access to the pool. 

Really good place to stay and eat 

We went with a guide who recommended the mushroom soup—either the mushroom borscht or the cream of mushroom. My husband ordered the former and I ordered the latter made of three kinds of mushrooms with tasty slices of mushrooms swimming in goodness. Mine was the better of the two. We also had cabbage rolls with polenta which were very good. We ended with fruits of the forest cake, which is one of my favorite along with blueberry liquor. Amazing meal!

Best Cream of Mushroom Soup!

It was a awesome evening with old friends from childhood...very nice place not far from the well known monastery....great food and service...very varied menu for all kind of tourists! and not expensive for foreign tourists!

A dinner with friends

Scattered across a forested slope there are several three storey lodges,which look like wooden buildings at first glance,but are non- creaky masonry.The stairs have no risers,and need a little care if climbing in a hurry.
       The rooms are of generous size, with balconies.There is plenty of furniture,including good firm beds.Th bare wood floors did not seem to cause any noise problem.Budget aspects of the accommodation were having no bath,no sink plug and no hairdryer- but this was as expected.
     Comfort was reduced by the inadequate pillows,but the weather was warm enough to use a duvet for this purpose.I would expect the second floor rooms to be uncomfortable  in hot weather,in view of the large area in proportion to window size.There was no fan.
We slept well ,but required to close the windows owing to the usual nocturnal barking dogs.
     Breakfast and dinner were entirely satisfactory.The property showed no areas of neglect or bad maintenance.I would glady visit again.

American style lodge in the forest.

I have been here for 4 days, my trip lasted for 10 hours, there are no highways from Constanta to Suceava. The stay was pleasant, the only thing I disliked was that they did not have an exterior playground for children. 
Many pretty flowers, the food was great.

My stay at Popas Turistic Bucovina

We spent together with family and other friends a week of vacation in this resort.
It was an active holiday because I mostly left the resort, doing entertainment activities in the Sucevita area.
There are recreational activities in the resort but not quite varied (swimming pool, sauna, bowling, some table games - billiards, airhockey, footbal, etc.)
Food was phenomenal! Congratulations to the restaurant team.
The accommodation and cleaning services were good.
Overall, everything was good but the resort seemed to have excelled, for us, in the restaurant!

New Year Holydays

Our pensione host recommended this restaurant, which looked ordinary, with lots of levels and rooms.  We were seated at a balcony table, which happily separated us from the busy-ness of the other patrons.  Locals and small tour groups were dining here.  Because of the tour groups, we suspected the food would be ordinary (you know, for tourists).  We were pleasantly surprised, however, at the variety on the menu and deliciousness of all our dishes.  That's why locals eat there!  Very good food, very good service, excellent value.

Surprised by this yummy restaurant

I was part of a mid-priced tour of Romania. By far the nicest accommodation of the trip, and very good dinner meal.Mushroom roulade was excellent.  Breakfast set up could be better. Many people trying to access a small area. Or maybe, it was just the large and pushy tour group that was there at the same time!

Beautiful place

We stayed for two nights in this beautifully located hotel in Northern Romania. Fortunately for us, the temperature had dipped from the mid 30s the day before, which made sleeping in rooms with barely openable windows, no AC, nor fans, tolerable. In this part of Romania few people seem to understand English which is quaint, but frustrating at times.; it was unusual for there not be any cold milk at breakfast to accompany the perfectly acceptable cereals. The food was OK when you have accepted that Romanian cuisine is limited.
