Pension Johnny House

Iasi was a nice stopover on the way to Piatra Neamt and we stayed here in June 2014. We arrived several hours before check in time and it was no problem at all. Our room was available and she let us check in early. It is within walking distance to the tram, so you don't need a car to get around Lasi. It is located in a residential neighborhood and we enjoyed just walking around and seeing everyday life here. The room was very clean, spacious, and had a great view of the orchard next door, from its balcony. The lady of the house could not have been nicer, but her English is very poor, so knowing Romanian or French will help. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Her home made sour cherry jam we had at breakfast was fantastic. I ate all she gave us told her how much I liked it. She promptly gave me a jar of it to take home when we checked out.
