We felt very nice there. And staff is really friendly.It is located in the Iasi region full of monasteries. Just next to the hotel are the "Odd poplars", a place described by the Eminescu, a Romanian poet in his same name potry - "Beside the odd poplars".

Excellent food quality I highly recommend to have a reservation. 
Is the place to be to taste the romanian food.
As a minus is busy and you need to have a reservation and waiting time is long between the food order and serving time .


it has a very nice set up with traditional design.

the food is very good and many options to chose from.
the staff is very helpful.
location is little remote, however it is worth going.
parking might be an issue at times.
they offer free WiFi only inside.

I felt well in this location. We wanted a nice place were to eat and we found it. There is also a historical monument "plopii fara sot". Waiters were very nice and friendly, they helped us pick up exactly what we wanted to eat. I will go there for sure again,there were few things to eat that I did not try that day.
Highly recommend 

This is a review only of the restaurant which I recommend.  We just ate there.  Prices were reasonable (113 Lei for four) with four main courses, three beers, one cognac, two bottles of water, and three salads.  

Waitresses understood English well enough, but there was English on the menu.  Waitresses were polite and quick to take our orders and attend to our needs even while busy with many other tables.  

Food was fresh and hot.  I think my beans and smoked pork could have had a little more smoke for the pork.  One tablemate's pork stew was very good while two other tablemates' Mixed Grill entrees were delicious.  

My only issues were smoking was allowed outside, but that is normal here so I can't complain and that the live music was a little loud outside.  They had a male and female singer inside with music outside.  The music was nice (traditional Romanian).  

The evening was pleasant and I recommend the restaurant.

The place doesn't stand out in any regard.

The food is good and not pricy. The servings not too small, but not too large either. 

The decor is rustic, with traditional Romanian music for background. Wooden tables and chairs in a historical location in Iasi.

Recommended if you're looking for an average Romanian experience at a low price.
