Meets expectations. In-line with what you would wish to have when choosing Busteni as ski destination. A plus is that, despite other similar villas, they do keep very clean and we never felt inside the snow/water brought on our shoes:) 

The owner is really trying and he is everywhere. If there is something that you do not already have in the room, for sure he has it available at the reception.



Good for ski

Spent here with the family 3 nights beginning of February. We recommend it to everyone looking for a clean, comfortable, warm and breath-taking view over Caraiman mountain (The Croce) and Zamora Valley. We went by car every day to the ski slope (approx 800m) as we had our own equipment (if rented from the base of the slope then a walk of 10-15 minutes to the slope will be just nice. 
We also recommend the food , very tasty and fresh prepared. Our daughter had the best schnitzel ever and trust me, she is a "schnitzel specialist". The rooms are large and spotless, I even asked the owner how can he manage keeping them so white and clean. The wood furniture is very nice and beds are very comfortable. 
The House owner is very friendly and do s its best to offer a nice stay experience.
And Kalinderu slope was a great nice surprise, we enjoyed during thr day and on Saturday the nocturne sky was the big bonus :) also to be mentioned, on the top of Kalinderu slope there is a great sleighs slope, a very popular one as you can see in the pictures.
The Price of the ski-pass is decent (140 ron for adult and 70 ron for kids up to 12 years old). Also the price for the accommodation is a good value-for-money ratio.
Would definitely come back and strongly recommend it. 


Great option for ski and families

The bad attitude can make everything go wrong.. this is what happend to us. We were a bit loud, that is for sure, but the owner made us feel really weird! We couldn't do anything as he was there all the time trying to make his oppinion count.. stop that, stop that and so on. Felt like a child who was being punished, at 6pm.. So, not going back!

Not going back...

The place was spotless and the host very nice and helpful. We were not once disturbed during our stay; it was quiet and peaceful. 

The location is good, with breathtaking view of the mountains (photo below), and also close to the main street. The restaurant was not open during our stay but there are so many places in Bușteni (we went to Sinaia for lunch as well) that it isn't a problem really. 

All in all, we will gladly stay there again when we visit Bușteni. 

10/10 would go again 

We staid at Casa Maia for 3 nights,and we are very pleased. The location is very good with a nice view at the mountains. The rooms are clean and spacious and the bed is large and comfortable.the hosts have been friendly and helpful. We warmly recommend it for a pleasant stay,good also for families with children.
